Did you get the tent coming out of the back of your Aztek option?
- Atomic Wedgie

Nope. Though we bought used so it wouldn't have been our decision

I think they should impose a rule with these two:

"If you win, you play"

Regardless of how well you do, a win is a win for the time being. Some games you will play fantastic and lose, some you will play terrible and win... In the end it will balance out.

This should keep up until one of them establishes themselves as the clear starter.

Thoughts?

That's sort of what I was thinking too. Reimer played last night and played well, they won. Why not go with him.

If Scrivens had won in Buffalo I would have expected him to play last night as well.

Maybe it will be that way but with the back to back Carlyle has decided not to do that, there are a lot of back to backs this year

Fair enough.

I think it will still end up being Reimer who pulls away with the #1 spot this season by the end of it. But battling throughout the season isn't a bad thing

- Domaju

Agreed....Reimer looked way more composed in the net for the most part last night...Scrivens scares me as he seems to be lost during the play at times..

Both have a load of pressure on them now as all eyes likely dont have a whole lot of faith in them getting the job done....

No use playing your goalie back to back and risking injury

Ya, although there was that one play where Reimer had no idea where it was and got very lucky that the wrap around went across the crease then his leg happened to be in the right place at the right time to stop the 2nd shot. That was a bit scary

Reimer looked lost a few times last night too. No less than Scrivens from what I saw. We knew it before the season and not much has changed. Its going to take time until these guys get a fair amount of experience under them at this level. Especially Scrivens.

Ah, the Aztek.

For the kid who grew up dreaming of being a garbage man, but got sucked into a professional career instead.

You can still live the dream by driving a car that looks like a garbage truck.

One of my favorite 30 Rock moments is when Jack decides to design a revolutionary microwave with corporate group-think and ends up creating the Pontiac Aztek.

But Breaking Bad did succeed in making it somewhat cool, if only because you can now drive one ironically.

Not really a fan of that strategy, especially when you're developing goalies. It's already the most mentally demanding job on the ice, so I don't know if it's the best idea to add to the pressure.
