Hey did you watch the TSN lead up to the game last night? I can't remember who it was, Pang? but he was asked about Carlyle's methods of not telling the press who starts in goal. Pang (or someone) said yeah it's not fair asking your goalie to lie to the media and may play on their mind.
I was like, frank me, he's a 25/26 year old male. Frank, i lie to myself everyday.
Anywho, my question is: DO any of the Sportsnet or TSN guys actually LIKE the Leafs? - walshyleafsfan1
That's the TSN way... hire guys who hate the Buds.

Well, a couple of points here:
1) If (as I suspect) he created the whole thing in order to try to boost his Heisman Trophy chances, he deserves to get busted. That's dirty pool.
2) I find it quite fascinating from a PR perspective. There's an old adage: it's not the lie, it's the cover-up.
He's obviously busted. When the story came out, it was embarrassing. But rather than admit the truth, he keeps concocting bigger lies, further smearing his reputation.

She got Leukemia when she tried fighting that unicorn and then bigfoot took a dump on her chest... That poor, fake girl.

To an admittedly casual observer, it looks like he got pranked very badly, then lied about it to save himself from embarrassment and the inevitable scrutiny that would follow.
Not a great move (it obviously didn't work), but not something so terrible that nobody else would have done it.
If it were truly an elaborate hoax to generate star power, then I suppose it would be a lot more fascinating if only for all the subsequent cover-up stuff.
I mean, are you suggesting that this latest news - that some dude created this hoax and masked his voice to sound like a woman - is also a fabrication? HOW DEEP DOES THIS CONSPIRACY GO??!!! We have to notify the President!
