Let's just say I did a whole lot of internet research on this subject.

If you are going to do the work yourself, get an old fridge - it has to be old, because you can't have coils in the door.

If that's not the way you are going, you can take two paths:

1) just buy the darned kegerator. A few sites on the internet will tell you that you can do it for cheaper by buying a regular bar fridge and modifying it, but I've priced it out, and it is no cheaper.

or

2) keep trolling Kijiji and Craig's list. Restaurants go under all the time, and they come up for sale. I missed out on a pro fridge with two taps by a couple of days - would have been $600 for about a $2400 model. And it could have fit 3 60L kegs instead of my little fridge now - which only fits one 60L or 2 20L. (I'm already thinking of upgrading the fridge!).

And if you are thinking of doing your own, and running the lines further than about 6", you need to chill the lines, or else you'll be pouring foam.

Being from Sask I've seen him play a lot of times. He has tons of skill. Was 2nd or something in Sask midget aaa scoring as a bantam player.. Apparently really out of shape too. Too bad cause he has the skill to be awesome player.
