For all you guys who trolled the Islander blog yesterday....one game is nothing but maybe you should learn to shut yer yaps - your team is not good enough to back up all the loudmouths and ignorant radio d'bags you listen to.
Your pathetic captain is a f'in pussee. Next time we see him expect him to leave the game with something broken or concussed. Boarding one of the best up & coming centers in the game comes with a price. Does that POS ever drop the mitts and stand up for what he does? Your team will not improve until the character of your leadership improves. It seems Burke hurt you more than Milbury hurt the Isles and that's saying a lot. We will be better and in the playoffs sooner than you guys. And when it happens, try and learn some humility. It's a virtue, like good sportsmanship and respect for your fellow player....oh wait....you have no role models for which to follow...too bad...your passion is off the charts...maybe one day your team will reflect that. Suck it! - jmo16

Maybe the Leafs have a waiver wire pickup happening and need to keep the spot open temporarily, until the transaction was complete. To send down any of the other defencemen, would cause them to be put on waivers. Maybe they've offered an NHL contract to Paul Ranger, after that debacle last night. That would allow the team to put one of their other defencemen on waivers, pending a 24 hour window to be claimed or sent to the minors. Tomorrow, they would clear waivers and Gardiner would be reinstated on the roster. - PrinceLH

You spend too much time on 9gag.
They've won cups and been in the playoffs more recently than their Leafs. - Feeling Glucky?
yeah when like a billion years ago, they come in last like every year yet they are still ass. Edmonton has built their team better. |

Ridiculous that theyre sending down Gardiner, Carlyle is way too rash with his decisions. Let the kid play, now I have to watch both freaking Komisarek and Fraser on the ice at the same time. My god. - ThePresident
Komi's been good. No need to bash him.
How is sending a guy down for conditioning being wishy-washy? |

Because it seems like Carlyle yanks someone every other game, lets gain some consistency instead of sending down, recalling, substituting, scratching. I can tell you that Gardiner certainly wasn't the worst playing Dman on the Leafs so far. Having both Komi and Fraser in our top 6 is a joke. 1 or the other. |

If you really watched the game...Gardiner was a mess..he needs to get his game back...a few games in the AHL should do it.
Although I'm not happy about bringing up useless Fraser.
