phaneuf owns, just because he was a -3 last night, he played amazing against the pens the other night too. He bodied out crosby majority of the night. Its a team game, not just one player. Phaneuf is not the only defensemen on this team to criticize

Its because gunner is not on his line to back him up. Gunner makes him look good because gunner will make up for his mistakes and bail him out. Having kostka on his line is a problem.

Nah id run with kostka gardiner because they had lineup in ahl, first pairing was amazing last year, dont know why they are not running it again
