the leafs will win in MSG, i could see us running the king out of the net (again) - pretty sure we did it twice last year...
1 bad game aint the end of the world, it was really just 2 bad periods! - big_dion
first back to back games for alot of the guys in 2/3rds of a year
they left off the gas after that 3rd goal and just couldnt get it going again, then they got sloppy, and then it fell apart.
nothing surprising there.. so long as they learn from it and remember not to back off the next back to back all is well. |

everyone needs to relax... here's some advice:
- Dozzer
I use work at a bud depot. We get geese hanging around every summer. Their either gutsy, stupid or just lucky the way the whole flock just walks right onto the road without a care in the world. Considering how many geese I saw at work last summer, only one got killed by a bus. So they have good odds of being lucky. |

It baffles me that it bothers you... they got screwed out of a goal with a minute left, and that cele was pure emotion. Loved it, the hockey gods got it right as the refs tried to hand that one to the Kings. - robin_steele264
its an embarassement to the sport.
the fact you love it, is great, do you remember last year that kid put his stick over his shoulder (washington or carolina) cant remember...and shot it like a bazooka?
this is about 5 times as bad as that.
all i gotta say is, Yakupov, keep your head up. |

But if he did, it would have been great to see a good ol canadian boy from out west show off all that passion and inspire his team!

ok..well then I am glad the rookie could score the game winning goal and get the oilers the win - senstroll
When the Oilers get back to the playoffs, should be this year but next year for sure, man that arena in Edmonton is going to be insane. They'd be a fun team to watch at home during the playoffs. |

im just saying it was pathetic.
nothing beats scoring a tying goal (rebound) and skating passed all your team mates who just came over to celebrate so you can slide on your knees and put your head down on the ice.
then you have a guy like eberle who scores unreal goals and does a fist pump and thats it.
its called class. something yakupov obviously has none of, but if you didnt know that before the season started then i guess you never will. |

Bunch of stock brokers eating sushi and golf clapping the very modest, humble goal celebrations.

Leading 3-1 and losing by 3 goals...thats worth crying over |

NO WAY!!!!! Maple Leaf Gardens was MUCH MUCH better for atmosphere cause we use to have REAL hockey fans like myself in the barn. The ACC is mostly business people taking clients to games, not real fans at all. The real fans like me use to be able to afford tickets to MLG but the ACC is toooooooo over priced & 100% harder to get tickets than MLG. |
