Its more the frustration of doing nothing all day thats the worst of it all. The wife is just a jerk, so that doesnt help. I told her to buy beer for the game on Wednesday. She bought a 6 pack. I told her to get some for last nights game, when she came home she had no beer. I asked why she didnt buy any and she told me because she bought some the day before and I should have saved some.
But hey, at least she got me the Atwood book I didnt ask for. - systemtool
Luckily the wife is more sympathetic for me. Admittedly the bonus of having your face sliced open to remove shards of teeth past is that I can still get up and change the channel when tripe appears onscreen.
Also, the wife loves beer and hockey just as much as me. All she needs is an excuse and a 12 pack appears in the fridge. The downside is that between the codeine and antibiotics, I can't partake right now

Took an elbow to the face playing soccer, managed to take previously strong and healthy teeth and reduce them to rubble and shards. Yay for extractions!
Who would have thought that I'd have to move from the UK to Canada in order to get a British smile

Johnny Bower? - Rang
Well that doesn't solve the problem for back to back games for the Leafs. Scrivens & Reimer are too inexperienced to bail out a tired Leaf team & Bower is too old to play back to back games. So it doesn't solve this dilemma for the Leafs.
tyler bozak has scored the same goal twice this season, but actually had a harder angle, i didnt see him skating down the ice like a typical russian. - big_dion

there was so many penalty's the game was just plain whacked.
watching the game has nothing to do with a rebound goal with 5 seconds left and a celebration like the cup was just won.
im enjoy watching edmonton, some excitement out there, great canadian talent.
but that was a (frank)in joke dude, it baffles me you dont find it to be a bit much! - big_dion
It baffles me that it bothers you... they got screwed out of a goal with a minute left, and that cele was pure emotion. Loved it, the hockey gods got it right as the refs tried to hand that one to the Kings.

How ironic. Happens too often that some families who migrate to Canada from poorer countries to give a better life for their kids, so they come to Canada & either one of the parents or one of the kids gets killed. It's like WTF?

But if he did, it would have been great to see a good ol canadian boy from out west show off all that passion and inspire his team!
