Kadri needs a full time coach for his faceoffs, get him ready in a hurry and put him on the top line with Frattin. - Feeling Glucky?
So maybe we can get some use from Yannick Perreault afterall??? |

I think a moose ticket would be good either way. I will take you to game, if he does not, you can take me if he does.. Deal?
I am not hating on his, his d was crappy. If he does not score the goal, people this morning would be saying how his d will have to comw around because he is a defensive liabality. He was bailed out numberous time. Just find it funny that when they score, everybiody forgets what he must work on. - bixll
He only played about 12 minutes, and was extremely dangerous when he was out there..
They didnt draft him for his D, that can be coached.
His skill cant.
If he didnt score, fans would be raging (moreso) on the refs, they were beyond brutal

WOW Augello has like 3x the hits as compared to Ek.
Scary how the the ENTIRE Leaf team suffered a brain fart exactly at the mid point of last night's game. Not just player, not even two, THE WHOLE TEAM! Very reminiscent of last season when the Leafs suffered a team brain fart Feb 7 vs the Jets & than followed the worst collapse in Leaf history, I seriously doubt that will happen to that extent here. It can't happen again!!! |

Sorry, How about Peter Ing? Anyway, what options can you see out there besides Lou? Lets think outside the box..... Glasscal LeClair? Huet? Gerber - Jimmy_wiener
I see no point in trading for a goalie until we get something better than Bozak as our #1 centre.
Although Kadri is looking pretty good... |

Have both he and RNH in my keeper pool.
Ive been thinking of trading Hall for Kassian, after hearing from the HB scouts. - systemtool
Yes, the guys in Esplen's thread say Kassian is better than all of them.
Lucky they have him.

Kadri, Frattin, Gardiner, and the 4th line continued to play well. Basically the guys who didn't see big minutes last night.
Guys just ran out of gas, couldn't commit to the defensive game. |

I think Carlyle implemented the "protect the lead" rule after going up 2 goals.
In the first period. Brilliant plan. |

thing is, when he does that, you see them in a 1-2-2. At no point last night did I see that from them. |

I actually read Oryx and Crank. It was a 3 out of 10. I cant tolerate her writing. Now im stuck with Year of the flood. I dont want to read it, but I also dont have anything better to do. - systemtool
I actually loved both those books... But hey, I get that people don't like the style, even if I think people do have to admit she's quite clever. |

Don't make me punch you below your eyebrow, Glucky.
Kadri is the first Leafs prospect in 60 years we haven't rushed.
And at the risk of cursing it, they may have actually done a good job of developing this kid.
Let's just continue to take it slow and steady. |

If Kadri works on his faceoffs, I think he can become a legit #1C in a few years. Guy's all heart and skill. |

The forecheck completely disappeared. They clogged the neutral zone, or tried to, and made little effort to penetrate the Islanders end of the ice until the third period. Whatever formation they used, they just sat back and let the Islanders come to them. |

I mean get his faceoffs to where they need to be, and fast. Other than that, he's already looking like the best C on this team. |

Hey Gluckster, how's Weirdoh? Does Weirdoh like going for walks in this weather? Make sure she's bundled up. |

It was decent enough that I finished Oryx and Crank. Maybe Ill have a change of mind after Year of the flood.
Im dying to see the Life of Pi movie, but I know its going to be a big let down. Just like Blindness was. (Saramago) Then again, very few books translate well to the big screen. |

It's an amazing movie. From everyone I've spoken to who's read it, it's actually better on the screen than on paper. |
