If only they invented a sport where people get to hit objects out of mid air. To make it more tricky, lets say that said object is also moving rapidly towards the person trying to hit it. On the off chance that somebody does hit it, it would then be fun to try and catch said object, no? But tough. Maybe if we attached half a cow-hide to the receiving persons hand it might make it a bit more fair...
I'm actually getting tired of Phaneuf and his brain dead plays out there.
I'd say he gets moved.
Also, you guys like seeing Phil dish the puck out last night. His snap passes are very underrated considering everyone sees him as a goal-scorer - AngryWhiteMale
Franson was pretty bad, IMO.
He's an offensive guy, but all night long it was soft passes, and he couldn't keep the puck in.
On the other hand, at least he's workded on his speed.

Not exactly sure what Franson did wrong.
He wasn't a minus last night.

I keep saying (and yet nobody listens - why?) that Kessel needs a goal-scoring centre, not a passing centre.

Have to agree. He's put pucks in the net over the last 3 years on his own.
If anything, a scoring centre would create more space for Kessel. I just don't think Phil gets enough credit for how accurate and crisp those snap passes are.
Only trades we should be looking to make are good value ones for youngsters... like if Nino can be had cheap, trade for him. Same with O'Reilly. - Feeling Glucky?
I think we are just good enough to not get a good pick, but not good enough to make the playoffs with our goailes. Hope I`m wrong.

Kessel needs a center that will go to the net. Screen the goalie, tap in the rebounds. But he also needs someone that can get him the puck effectively. I dont see why he it as to be one or the other. Find a center with good hands, a will to go to the net, and take shots himself.

Wouldn't that be the best sport in the world??? - lumlums
