The list of things Nonis can actually get away with trading are growing smaller by the day.
I they really insist on Kadri or Frattin they're getting nowhere. Nonis wouldn't even think of moving those two.
So if Reimer has a bad game on saturday, then what's Nonis' response? - AngryWhiteMale
For Luongo, it was small to begin with. His contract makes him a no-go, unless we get some good future pieces back with him. |

Either another goalie, or just riding out the short season. No need to jerk knees right now. Especially with Loupole out. |

Yeah we really gotta hang onto those late first round picks(18-24) - AngryWhiteMale
This draft compares to 2003. Look who went in that range then.
I'll wait. |

Morning, everyone.
I had an early meeting this morning, so I went to bed after the first period.
Leafers looked great, didn't they? Wow, Kadri! Wow, Grabbo!
Everything seems great in Leafs Nation today.

Tough loss boys. Nothing to be ashamed of though. The Islanders are one of the best teams in the league. It's not all 6crivens fault. |

I think if we get anything from Loops' injury, it's the assurance that whatever happens at the back end, guys like Kadri and Frat-attack aren't being moved, something I was seriously worried about over the last 3 weeks.
I'm not in the least bit surprised that they have done so well.
The only downside is that, while our goaltending is bad enough to get us a top 10 pick, our offence is too good for us to fall into the top 3.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but even if we land another top 10 pick, we aren't getting anywhere in the goaltending situation |

What the hell kind of hockey number is 64?

You know, the game in buffalo got me thinking...
why is a puck randomly bouncing off a player in front of the net a goal for that player who's entire contribution was being there... while actually using skill and eye-hand coordination to punch the tiny black thing moving at 60 miles per hour a no-goal?

Thanks man. We share each others pain. 1 win against Edmonton, Anaheim and Calgary. Its not all the gingers fault.
Look on the bright side, if you guys win tonight, you'll pass the powerhouse Leafs. If not, you cant be down. Luongo will bring you guys a few all stars to get back on track with. |

He's probably sitting in a bunker in colorado, stocked up on cans of mixed nuts and light beer, waiting for the super bowl, then the apocolypse.
Plus he probably wouldn't be thrilled about our gun laws up here |
