I'm a fan of Scrivens, but he hasn't looked good at all yet. Some are saying "he was great against the Habs." I thought he looked terrible. If Habs had any offense at all they would have smoked him that game. He was really really shaky, but never really tested.

Seen him a ton in the Marlies and when he's on he's ON. He hasn't been yet.

Ugly game all over, that's the kind of hammering I was expecting from the Pens but not the Isles...so I guess it's a wash, really. I thought we'd be 2-2 by this point and we are, just not the way I thought we'd get there. Probably 2-3 after Saturday but if this short season has proven anything so far it's that "anything can happen" so I guess we'll see.

Could be the speed of the game or even just nerves since this will be his first season as a tru NHL goalie. Giv him time I still like to get a goalie with a lot more upside personally.

First mistake: Never EVER buy food that it provided at any sports arena, unless its a hot dog. The meat may have a low enough grade that you debate whether or not it should have passed the entrance exam, but at least it's been irradiated long enough (possibly with plutonium) that the chances of there being any bacteria left over are less than the chances of the Leafs getting a (frank)ING SHUTOUT!!!
