After that goalie performance how can they not say
- Yeti1181

I don't get how so called hockey fans don't get it.... There better off not getting Lou and tanking out the season ... Hearing fans call in the fan 590 and ranting about how this team needs Lou is painful .... And sad

I actually like Lou or a solid goalie reimer and scrivens are letting in bad goals if we had a solid goalie we could potentially be 4 and 0. I think Lou has more time left then most people think however I see the opposite side of why we shouldn't get him.

After one game???

But yeah the leafs are suddenly desperate and are now willing to do Bozak+KAdri+2nd.... maybe more, the price has probably gone up.

One game.

I would just be more concerned with what the Leafs would have to give up. I mean imagine if they gave up Kadri, as rumored Van wanting. Still don't know what Kadri will be, but he's producing early on and confidence should only be growing.

Lou hasn't been great either, so there's that. Oh, and not a chance is hell we beat Buffalo with Lou..... it wasnt goaltending in that game that lost it for us (On our end). Lou doesn't change that we were only able to beat miller 1time.

I'm loving KAdri right now. All over the offense, creating tons of chances for himself and linemates. Pesky pain in the ass.

He goes nowhere.

EDIT: he's looking more and more like the guy we drafted.

Same should be said of Frattin. Played very well.. I like that Frattin-Kadri-Komarov line... All 3 can be a pain in the ass and can put up points.

actually.. the lupul injury was probably a blessing in that regard.

nonis might not be so quick to pull a "get into the playoffs" move with one of his core guys out for the next 6 weeks.

14 giveways last night

only 6 blocks

44% on FO...... Steckel was 20%

Just awful. Skate them into the ground. How they respond tomorrow will go a long way to determining where they are.

I was at the game last night. Two things that were very evident to me. Now mind you it was just the one game, therefore I want to watch them both carefully for a few more games.

First, Cody Franson showed me why he is constantly a healthy scratch. He makes lame passes. Its like he taps the puck, no authority on his passes. Its like he's afraid.

Second, Kotska. I don't think has the hockey IQ of the NHL level. By this I mean, I don't think he reads the plays quickly enough. He seemed lost a number of times out there with the puck.

One game, so I'm not going to go postal on either one of them....... yet.

Oh, and other note. As most of us already know. Our goaltending stinks.

You need to start keeping track of who posts what.

I never said anything about Lou being top 10.

Or maybe you need to keep track of conversations before jumping in?

What I like about Kadri is that he has an edge to him. On that boarding penalty he got. The play before precipitated his actions. Can't remember what happened, but I was watching Kadri, and from the blue line he made a bee line towards the Isle player. You could see it in his face he was going to take him out hard.

He always has had that...... I just roll my eyes when people say Kadri is a perimeter player with no gumption.

Yea, I noticed this too. I don't think it's bad enough to keep him out of the NHL, but expect Gardiner or Liles on the top pairing sooner rather than later.

Too be fair, Steve Simmons wrote that article in the Toronto Sun, and we all know Simmons hates the Leafs.

No, Kadri is a nasty little (frank)er. He should watch how he hits though. He has a habit of lifting a leg up, kinda like he's going to knee a guy in the leg as he makes impact.
