What are you going on about?
Hodgson demanded to be traded 17 times. Yes 17, I didn't make that number up.

Our team is a pretty easy team to fit in... he must have been a big wiener to ask for a trade from a Cup contender, especially from a team that treats their players the way the Canucks do.

Kassian trained all summer with the Twins... wonder why Cody "the recluse" Hodgson spent his time with Gary "silent R" Roberts.

17 times. OK. We should take your word for that...you would never post BS on HB(yours or someone elses).

You mean the same Roberts that Kassian used and worked with Cody the summer before? Seriously?

1. Young players wanting to improve their conditionaing and strengthen rehabbed injuries is not selfish.

2. Canucks trainers, medical staff and coaches all dropped the ball when Cody insisted he was injured. Gagne even tried pushing Cody in training to ignore the injury that could have cost him his career. Even the coach dismissed it based on info in part from Gagne. It's hard to blame him for not trusting him.

3. When Cody put extra training in on his own, it's because he's a cancerous personality? When Canucks seek additional training on their own, they are proffesional and are working hard to be successful this upcomming season.

Why would the Sedins take Kassian under their wing? I don't know...maybe because he has gotten in trouble in the past off seasons and needs mentors and leaders setting examples. Cody is professional...maybe too professional. He is a leader and that cant be denied. Kassian needs leaders. ALSO, Kassian is a winger who the team hopes can play with the Sedins for several reasons... Cody is a centre,,, less need for make a bond with this player.

Say what you want but I don't think anyone on this team has worked as hard as Cody has over the last 3+ years. He had to catch up after taking a year off. He had a career threatening injury and a coach who accused him of faking it to overcome. The recovery was in his control the coach wasnt. The whole US AND HIM started and finished with the AV. This is an isolated problem with the Biggest head on the team.

I have no problem with people liking the trade. It's just laughable how many contradictory stories people are forming on this subject. So many of them are hypocritical as well when you look at some of our players. Is this how people stick their heads in the sand on the internet? I guess so....

Still waiting since the 2012 TDL for Gillis to fill in the hole created in this trade... we are getting younger they say but Cody was replaced by a player who retired 25 games later and the hole is filled by what ever you want to call this......keep drinking the coolaid....

I'm convinced you are either:

1. Cody Hodgson
2. Gary Roberts
3. Cody's dad
4. Prock
5. Adrian Dix

Well said. I think of Occam's Razor in all this. The problem began, continued, and ended with AV.

Nah, couldn't be. Why would our next Premier waste his time here?

Because he's NDP and that's what they do, waste people's time.

That's quite a generalization. I guess you prefer sweet Christy Palin/Clark. Were you around when she responded to the question: "What qualifications do you have to be Education Minister (back a while)?" and she answered with, "Well, my kids are in school in BC." Both one of the funniest and saddest comments ever -- and she's proven to be exactly that good as Premier -- a yet to be elected by the people of BC Premier.

Hope the Canucks finally beat Anaheim tonight...they have constant trouble with them.
