Here's why this is likely (some or all) b.s.:

1) If the Hawks dealt for Lu, Crawford (+) would almost have to go the other way for cap reasons alone.
2) Does anyone on the planet still think Mike Gillis has any leverage in this?
3) The Hawks aren't dealing Sharp for Lu.

The Canucks were talking about it. Benn wants to play here and come home. Maybe the lockout put a wrench in it. The Canucks have to clear salary for next year and they would have had to put a huge offer for Dallas to not accept. They can't make that huge offer anymore. But they were talking about it. Yes 5 on BS . I don't think it matters ,both teams don't like each other , so sitting down and talking sensibly to make a proper deal probably won't happen.
