My first game I watched frank Mahovlich take a slapshot from outside the blueline on a penalty shot along the ice on Tony Esposito....easy save obvioulsy

but Mikita was a nasty SOB..loved his game

also I grew up thinking Tony O was the greatest goaltender until i found out later he used to alter his equipment...ie mesh between his pads , extra big glove, goal pads all illegal stuff
