Yup, I'm in Vic in my mid 30's and a few of my friends are looking at moving to Courtney or the Comox Valley. Way more affordable housing and there are some jobs up there from what I hear.
Good to see so many Islanders.
Lucky is def an Island beer, but I think its birthplace was Cowichan, go in a CBW there and the place is 50% Lucky, easy. |

If Kassian only had Hodgson's hockey smarts and vision.... - rdfred
He may not be at Hodgson's level, but Kassian has more than enough of both.
Made some incredible setups while with the Wolves. Made one of the nicest flip passes over the goalie to setup Haydar—not too many players would have thought to try it. |

Maybe playing Centre, but if he gets to go back to the wing with Kesler and Booth, you should see his production increase. Seriously, Higgins and Hansen aren't exactly scoring machines. - 1970vintage
I was thinking about Burrows playing with Kesler/Booth when I posted.
Burrows' avg. PPG with the Sedins over the last 3 season is 0.71 PPG and that's including AB's best season 3 years ago when he put up 35/32. The past two years have been 0.66 and 0.65 respectively.
That said, even with a healthy Kesler/Booth, no way Burrows' production increases.
Like I said, hard-pressed for 30 points with or without Kesler/Booth. In a full season, Burrows MIGHT be a 25/25 guy. I've said this all along.
It's not a knock on Burrows by any means, I just think that he's been fortunate to play with the Sedins and that his numbers will be more realistic without the Sedins based on the player he is, IMO.
Never believed that Burrows was a top 3 winger. |

Yes. Talk is talk we'll see. It will definitely hurt tourism if it does happen. |

Of course Burrows's production will go down without the Sedin's but he's still a top 6 player.
He's been playing great and creating loads of chances, despite being held off the scoresheet. |

Your trolling ain't working here pal.
Burrows was on the top line for the World Championships! He's the man.
Coming from a team with Lupul, Bozak and Kessel as the top line, I think you should worry about your 1st line instead. |

Cumberland, in particular, has lots of young families moving in. The village has much to offer for healthy, outgoing people. Lots of outdoor rec opportunities and much in the way of arts & culture. |

Kassian looked good, but it's just 3 games in and I'd like to see a larger sample size before I anoint him Bert 2.0. I will give him credit, even if he doesn't become a 30 goal scorer with the Sedins, if he plays as physical as he has and keeps the other team from using the Sedins as a punching bag, it'll make the Sedins better and that will be more than worth it, at least for this mini-season. |

And there it is... Deflection and accusation for no reason.
You may have noticed in one of my earlier posts that I acknowledged Kassian for having a "very nice" game. Yeah, I'm trolling
What does Kassian, Burrows and playing with the Sedins have to do with the Leafs' first line? Nothing. So why bring it up? |
