In the "big" city. Live near UVic, up top of a hill overlooking the straight, can see Baker and Olympics on a clear day but windy as frank. |

It was a good hockey trade for both teams. We had no need for Kassian cause of Foligno's emergence. Sabres got their first line center, Canucks got their gritty winger. Sabres win that trade though only cause Sulzer has been very steady for us while Gragnani isn't even with the Canuck organization - Pegullaville
Garrison replaced Gargnani so we win that deal.
Hodgson should be second line centre. Right handed centres should never be first line, except for rare occasions.

Not trolling but don't any of you think the Nucks primarily Kass were taking liberties on Kipper.
That being said we are so soft now who is going to do anything about it. |

Kassian is not only becoming the best power forward in the game, but maybe one of the best players in the game. He can score, hit, pass and his defensive game is impressive. If he keeps playing with the Sedins I think he can make a serious push for 40 or 50 goals this year. IF he keeps playing with the Sedins. He is a total force out there. Kassian can score at will. Something we haven't seen in a long time. - hankthetank
Is this serious? I love Kassian and think he will be a very good player, but 40 goals in an 82 game season will be tough, he loses focus very quickly, he had a few games in Buffalo like the recent ones he has had with the nuck's. His intensity will fade in and out. AV better stay on him |

Beautiful area, I have family in Parksville, love to visit in summer. I used to work in sales and did trips up as far as Courtney (Oak Bay Marine Group Lodges). Loved to stay in those A frame cottages at Qualicum Beach. |

So? Yakupov and Galchenyuk have 1 career goals. Does this mean they are bad players? Did you watch the game last night? Kassian was a man amongst boys. Offence will not be an issue for the Canucks now that Kassian has found his game. If the rumours are true and the Islanders really are the mystery team and Gillis is putting a package together for Tavares then look out. The Canucks will be set for years to come with Tavares, Kassian and Schroeder. - hankthetank

He's drastically improved from last season though. Way more fit and in shape. He's literally gained two steps and is one of the best skaters out there. He's finally came to a professional organization. He's been taught how to be a pro. |

Well that might be a little over the top but he is certainly making us Canucks fans feel better about the Hodgson trade. |

Rolling rock in Cumberland? Isn't that sacrilegious? I thought you only had lucky there.

Decent game by the Canucks last night. A little shaky at times, but it looks like the legs are coming around.
Kassian. Very nice.
Should be interesting to see Burrows' production numbers without playing with Sedins. I have a feeling that the Sedins have been more responsible for Burrows' numbers than Burrows has himself. Without the Sedins AB will be hard-pressed to hit 30 points this season. |

Maybe playing Centre, but if he gets to go back to the wing with Kesler and Booth, you should see his production increase. Seriously, Higgins and Hansen aren't exactly scoring machines. |
