Seravalli just tweeted that early word on Mesz is that it may be serious... poor bastard worked his ass off to get back, and 4 games in he's out again
- Jsaquella

seems like it might be that kind of season for the Flyers.

If Meszaros is out for awhile, I think I'd recall Brandon Manning before rushing into a trade

I thought Manning played pretty well when he was up last year.

Some of these kids are young. I'm surprised they didn't say "who"

I skate at seven, yeah, and go to work with my line.
I got no time for livin'.
Yes, I'm workin' all the time.

It seems to me
I could live my life
A lot better than as a PK man.
I guess that's why they call me,
They call me the Workin' Man.

They threw up the graphic during the game that 3 Flyers (Couturier, Laughton, and I think BSchenn) weren't even born when Knuble was drafted.

They did. Not to take anything away from the Flyers, but they caught the Rangers in the right situation.

For Frank, solid reporting that avoids the TMZ aspect is like his Watergate

And Tortorella pretty much went with 3 lines and 4 defenseman. Not a good situation to shorten the bench. Regardless, you still have to outwork them, and I think the Flyers did that from the opening puck drop.
- MJL

He did that last night vs Boston, too.

Loved the way Flyers rolled four lines; all of which contributed tonight.

no excuses, the flyers outplayed the rangers, clean. back to back games, this early in the season, is a sorry excuse for NYR. they look horrible, out of the gate and the flyers hard work paid off tonight.

Team effort, and the Flyers had a good work ethic all game long.
