Other than the beat down, I am wondering about Darcy's extension, and any plans he has to improve this roster/deal with the plethora of defense men.

Do they go for it this year? Tons of injuries in the conference and teams playing lousy. Plus all the hold outs.

Or, hope the youths in the system keep developing and plan for 2-3 years? I think it is safe to say that we really could use some C that can win a face off, and contribute on the third line. Our first line is doing great, and I think the second will get going soon enough.

He'll be a late bloomer but having him playing in the NHL is probably best for his game IMO. they want him as a physical player with offense instead of an offensive player with physical play. His offense might suffer because of this at first, but playing against NHLers should toughen him up.

No, looks like he fits right in. He's a good passer.
