No.
To be a bit of a homer, I wouldn't trade Eberle for almost anyone. - abware
How about Hall for Benn? |

How about Hall for Benn? - yaktalksback
I think Benn is more of what the Oilers need, more of an all round physical player, but I believe Hall has a higher offensive ceiling and will in time become a physical player himself. It would probably be a good trade but I wouldn't do it because of the chemistry and morale of having Eberle and Hall together.
As an Oiler fan I want to see them and Nuge in Oiler silks for a long time.
Homerish yes, but my opinion |

If it gets your team a better player, you do it. Don't get me wrong, Hall is an amazing player. But not the best by a long shot. |

I don't see COL want anything to do with Gagner. COL already has Duchene and Stastny. I don't think EDM would want Duchene or Stastny coming back. |

Serious question - what's the straight goods on Paarjarvi-Svensson? Trade bait, a work in progress and developing, not going to make it in Edmonton? |

Developing him in a shut down role, and PK. |

I say work in progress and developing into a certain type of player and then trade bait. |

I think the Oilers have lowered their expectations and realize Paajarvi is likely a career third-line LW who kills penalties and contributes a point once in a while. |

Like I said before, I believe you know someone who knows someone, but that is hardly a source. That or someone in the know is feeding you what they want you to say because there are a lot of people here.(even though most come across as ass hats - abware
The great thing about guys like you is, you wouldn't even believe it if I took the time to explain it to you. |

I'd take Duchene over Gagner, straight up. |

Well, I guess that's better than the #1 pick we got the year before in Kyle Beach. He contributes nothing. |

Me too, I think COL would also take Duchene over Gagner. So Gagner ain't going near COL. |

The great thing about guys like you is you actually believe your own bs.
I kid, I kid. I do like most of your blogs, but you push your opinion as fact too much. And not just since you say you have source(s).
If you do indeed have a source now don't act like an in the know tool because even insiders are fed bs |

Are you also Mark Spector?

Your blog, scenarios, and conclusions strangely mirror his article, or are you merely plagiarizing his work? - RoloTahmasee
Maybe they have the same source
Or Spectors articles are the source |

I really like Gagner as a player but I don't think Edmonton is a spot for him long term. One thing he's proved is that at center, he's an effective top6 player but only at center. His good games on the wing are few and far between.
It could make him difficult to move to really get fair value in a deal. |

I can see Gagner going to NSH, PHX, WPG, maybe TOR or NJD...then there is VAN because of the Luongo rumor. |
