With Carlyle, each and every player knows exactly where he stands, and exactly what he has to do to win favour with the coach.

I recall dozens of times over the past 4 years where players strongly hinted to the media that they didn't know what Wilson as thinking. He'd just hold a grudge like a grade 8 girl.

With Carlyle, if you need to stand in front of the net to be invited to his birthday party, he'll tell you. And then he'll tell the press to make sure you effing do it.

And for those keeping score, JVR went 2-1-3 last night. Yeah, if he keeps it up, he'll get an invitation to the birthday party.
