Glad to see Frattin get the call. I think he'll be good for the Leafs. Not as good as Lupul, obviously...but i've always liked Frattin's game.

Probably, I'm glad they got Crosby for all the complaining near the end of the game.

What did Malkin do to get a 10 min misconduct last night in the 3rd?

Malkin also got a game misconduct at the end for chirping too much to the refs.

I don't think the Pens liked the ref'ing at all last night. I thought it kind of favoured the Leafs, but wasn't THAT bad. Crosby seemed real upset near the end of the game. I thought a few calls could have went against Toronto for a few plays on both Malkin and Crosby, but that's how you have to play highly skilled players like that.

Personally, even though Reimer's goals weren't the best and he did look a bit shakey at times (rust), I thought overall he looked better than Scrivens. I didn't think Scrivens got tested much at all in the first two games, which is a good thing.

With all the crap that Phaneuf takes around here, he played Crosby perfect last night, he should be given his props for it.

After Watching the Leafs play 3 games this year a few things stand out to me...

1) This roster is capable of playing in a stuctured system that makes defence a priority
2) There is more Talent on this team than most give credit for
3) Defence wins hockey games
4) Roberto is not the saviour this team needs
5) Patience with Kadri is paying off

Serious question...

How can you guys regulate trolling when the bloggers themselves are both creating them and feeding them? I know its all about hits, so why not just make it a free for all where everything goes? Otherwise, its hard to regulate and control without looking like hypocritical douchebags. No offense.

I dont even need to mention which bloggers for you to know who Im talking about. Thats why I have a ton of respect for the one we do have.

Keep it up MIB.

Nonis should pick up the phone, call Gillis and tell him to go (frank) himself.
