Cuz you know a slapshot to the unprotected part of your arm makes you injury prone

Last night Reimer gave us the chance to win.
It would be nice to have a goalie that can steal games but all I ask is our goalies give us the chance to win every night if the forwards don't poop the bed.

It was a good team effort and Kessel was flying on forcheck and backcheck!

They are still doing online feed?
- Cfser

Yes. Not like it used to be, through the Maple Leafs website...
I have to go through Rogers On Demand/Online personal TV.

You can get it there. But there are some known blackout issues with some outside the GTA/South Ontario area for a few games. (from what I heard through the grapevine)

I enjoyed the old online Leafs TV setup. It had 3-4 different feeds and camera views.

But the quality is HD. (depending on your internet connection/video card etc) Just hope the servers don't slow down, like they used to with the old LeafsTV feeds/site.

If getting your head skated on in warm up makes you injury prone, you can be damn well sure a slap shot to the arm makes you injury prone.

I'm hoping they will be a playoff team or even close to it only because I want to see the tankers here get the "hope they lose" thrown back into their faces, people know my stance on tanking, no reason to rehash it again.
- LeafMan

I'm not against tanking but I think you have to one extreme or the other. If you're mediocre it's harder to improve. Either compete for a playoff spot or compete for the best players in the draft. Anywhere inbetween and you aren't currently good enough to make it and aren't bad enough to reap the benefits of the high end of the draft. Can you still draft well? Sure, but, typically speaking, those guys take longer to develop.

Ya, I know. No player has ever learned to play defense in the history of hockey. Either you know how when you break into the league or your out of luck.

He'd be a good player if he was our own draft pick, and if we went ahead and traded him away. But since we traded for him, and he's still on our team, he sucks.
