Hating on Lupul's deal is ridiculous. Look at Zajac's.

To everyone saying move JVR up, they aren't messing with that new line. 7 points last night, do you guys even watch the games?

The teams looking good, goalies are looking seriously improved.

We deserve to be 3-0.

Lets hope they keep it up.

We deserve to be 2-1... just as it is..

If we had Ryan Miller... We would be absolutely deserving to be 3-0.

Guys are going to get injured.... that's just the nature of the beast. His back issues seem to be behind him, other than that I don't care.
- burn

So if he missed, say, 10 games a season due specifically to his previous back injury you would consider him injury prone but if he misses 15+ games every year due to various injuries he's not injury prone? That makes no sense.

By definition injury prone just means prone to injuries, as in he is injured more than the average player, it doesn't mean he has one nagging issue that constantly arises that keeps him out of games.

I'd be shocked if he plays every game of a single season over this 5 year contract at this point.

He has not played a full season in his full hockey career, going back to juniors... So your statement, is pretty much a full on lock.

99.99% of players who get hit by pucks, bones do not shatter. Freak accident, bad luck? Sure... But he still has a glass body, and is absolutely injury prone!

We were the better team deserving of victory. They had a hot goalie. Huge diffence Bub.

While details are still foggy at this hour, it appears that Ryan O’Reilly no longer is under contract with his KHL team in Russia. The player and team have “mutually” agreed to terminate his contract. The team Metallurg, issued a release in the wee hours (American time) saying as much. Where it gets a little confusing is the team cites a foot injury that O’Reilly “aggravated” in his last game. There is also an issue about looming KHL transfer deadline protocols that may have played into this.

Cannot not answer that question right now.
The contract is signed and done.

I just would have waited, more than 2 games, into the season, when signing an injury prone player - to a long term 5+ mil per season.

Sooooooooooooooooo... The goalie is not part of the team, by that statement.

I know it has been almost 10 years, since we have seen such a thing

my favorite posters are the guys that come in with 20/20 hindsight perfect vision....oohhh he's injury prone - oooohh shouldn't have signed a contract. Get real - say it before it happens or don't say it at all - don't come in here after the fact and act like you're so damn clever.

To be fair, no one expected a 5 year extension so early in the season...

My wife called me over to her gym last night. The furnace had ran for about 4 hours straight and it had not got over 18 degrees C in there.. The thing was not burning its fuel properly.. I think the nozzel is screwed, we have a furnace guys coming over this morning, but was it ever strange, it looked like it was struggling for air, only burning half of its fuel. And the smell was a pain as well.

Anyone know wnything about oil furnaces?
