Apparently he was pretty bad in preseason and he is doing what he did a lot last year in his first game - making some big saves (which is expected of every NHL goalie) and letting 2 weak goals in.
Listen, I would love Reimer to be the goalie he was a couple years ago but nothing is showing that he can be. Scrivens is a much better option right now for the Leafs......
...unless we want a better chance for Mackinnon - then start Reims every game!

frattin for sure, he can go up and down no problem. i don't thing Connolly clears re-entry waviers, remember toronto would have to pay half his salery and cap hit if they did that

so far their best games were this and sabres (miller was just on fire). i think they played average against montreal. i think if they play like this all year long (hopefully), it should be a good season

Wow...you are being very defensive about a goalie who has shown a lot more mediocrity then ability in his career. Are you related to the guy??
Yes, Scrivens who falls and can't handle the puck worth of $hit was solid in the AHL last year, this year, completely out played Reimer in preseason, has played solid in first 2 games and is a better option for the Leafs if they want to win.
