I'll say this again 'cuz it's pretty interesting stat...
Leafs never went three games without giving up less than 3 goals ALL of last year. Already done it in the first 3 this year. |

It was funny - I was watching the Flames feed, and the commentators were slobbering all over themselves in praise of Iggy - swearing that although nothing is going in for him right now, it's just a matter of time.
Unfortunately, I came to the opposite conclusion. To me, he looks like a guy who is starting to lose it - still knows what he wants to do, but he just can't execute anymore. He had half a dozen chances, and sadly couldn't put the biscuit in the basket on any of them.
For the love of God, Calgary: trade this guy. - Atomic Wedgie
flames are going the way of the leafs before the last lockout. Trying to patch holes with guys past their prime in a attempt to squeak into the playoffs, instead of just accepting the fact that they need to rebuild and sell of their assets while they are worth something. |

I just hope this defense isn't due to the players being rusty and not generating much offense...that being said, all of the teams Toronto has played so far have looked much better against other teams, which makes me think it's Toronto playing good D. |

Seems like Crosby went poopy-ape-poop over an off-side call. I'm guessing that was the straw that broke the camel's back, but c'mon, Sid - you've got to keep your cool on that.
And some may have considered it poor sportsmanship to try for a goal on the final 5 on 3, but I'm not going there. Quite frankly, our 5 on 3 has looked terrible - it was good practice.
Unfortunately, Bozak scored, which makes my job of getting rid of him harder. - Atomic Wedgie
If the other teams get a penalty for whining make they pay for it. Bozak to me is doing just fine, I'm not going to harp all over him. I have said from when he got here, he is well suited for the third line centre but put into a role out of necessity. |

Leafs have really done a great job of clogging the neutral zone, they've had tons of back pressure of the opposition coming through the neutral zone, with very active sticks and legs. Also done a solid job of clearing their own zone for the most part, which we all knows has been one of Toronto Achilles for a long time now. |

If Philly loses tonight, I really think they make some kind of move within the next week or so. Holmgren isn't the type to sit back and watch his team burn, he'll make changes. |

I doubt he'll retire too late. Meaning, wait until his production declines too significantly. |

So I'm guessin Frattin will be called up but in 6 weeks the Leafs will have a TOUGH decision to make as I believe Frattin will have longed passed his waiver eligibility. The Leafs will have to decide who comes out when Lupul returns. |

Bravo to the Leafs on that game last night. The Pens seemed to lose focus and the Leafs made them pay. Nice road win for them. - Emperor Filonius
Look at this!! A fan with class and dignity. Maybe you need to teach a class, in classiness and dignity. I can think of a boatload of Canuck fans, that seem to slime their way here and talk sh!t, that could learn a lesson from you. |
