We really haven't had much luck on the injury front. Especially freak things like Pronger going down to a high stick, it's not easy to suck it up and carry on. But, then again, there's really no alternative. I can't exorcise the orange and black in my brain, so I'll just shake my fist at Murphy and his damned law.

This sucks. I have zero feeling of optimism right now...at least a bad finish would be during a deep draft.
- Jsaquella

Clearly you are not a democrat. If you were, you be experiencing disaster but exuding plenty of optimism.

thoughts on Schenn? Don't think it was worth a game.

On the bright side at least this will be a short season of bad hockey.

I believe they need to let the swelling go down before they can get an accurate assesment of the debth of the injury.

I didnt want them to make the playoffs at all. This team needs to learn that you have to play comolete games.

I feel like they think they are entitled to winning.

Keep the draft picks, don't try and trade for stop gaps, play hard for 60 minutes a night. That's all I ask for from this season.

I think based on what the rule states it was suspension worthy. But I have seen more egregious hits receive only a fine.

I don't generally have a problem with Shanahan, fans are just looking for him to be consistent. These conspiracy theorists out there are just silly.

I'm with you. Now's the time to get the young guys (and I don't just mean the sophomores) playing time, let them grow through the pain. I'm not against transactions that might help now, if they also address long term needs.

Absolutely, if a move can be made that helps both short and long term go for it. Trading picks for older guys with one year left on their contracts is what I would like to see avoided.

What worries me is how empty our prospect pool is. We have no defensive prospects and no prospects not playing in the nhl as is.

Yes that is a product of trading draft picks. Like you said all the Flyers prospects are in the NHL already. The talent level at Adirondack is pretty depressing.

They brought facts. He dismissed them and proved them wrong without ever explaining how.

Engelland is one tough SOB. He is usually giving away a bunch of size, and he comes out on top most of the time. He's like a honeybadger that dude. He's not only a fighter either, he's becoming a very serviceable D-man.

That's ok, the world will just make a couple new sockpuppet accounts and start again tomorrow.
