He was the man in Sweden. He was just an average backup with heart problems in Toronto. |

I enjoy the Oilers, and yeah i've watched the game...Shultz has been shakey at best on D. He's looked nice on offense, but my fear for him is turning into Mike Green V2.0. He's not Paul Coffey, folks. - blahman20
oh no a rookie D shakey in his first two games? What a shocker |

Dubnyk is a pretty weak goalie right now, based on what i saw in the first period last night. Also who would want a guy who spells his name "Devan" and not "Devin"? |

Jesus. The Leafs win two games and their fans think they don't have a history of sucking. Despite the fact that between the two lockouts they were the only team to not play in the playoffs. Even Columbus got in once. |

Don't get your panties all in a knot. A defenceman who is all offense and no defence is a legit concern Oilers fans should have. Hopefully for you guys that part of his game gets better. |

While with Bishop the goalies are 1a and 1b in theory, in reality, they're 2a and 2b, and I'm soooooo sick of not having a freaking NHL calibre goalie!!!!! |

not to jump in the middle, but leaf fans do the EXACT SAME THING with gardiner and reilly. pretty sure both of those guys already have their names penciled in on the norris trophy, according to leaf fans. - sensarmy_11
I know what you mean, when I see that Gardiner isn't playing I assume he retired already and went straight into the hall of fame. |

Dear Mr. Cloutier,
I know you have said before that you only write things sometimes to get a reaction and I know that you know Leafs related stuff gets you hits, but still I couldnt pass up the opportunity to laugh hysterically about the Bozak trade you proposed. Frankly it is ridiculous. Bozak is super under rated and your goalie is worse than Riemer or Scrivens. HAHAHAHAHHA what a dumb trade. If I said Bozak for Yakopov it would be less ridiculous. |

if there is one thing bozak isn't, its underrated. that guy isn't a top six forward on about 90% of teams in the NHL. |

Bozak would work well with some teams, and not so well with others. |

Well, to be fair, when followers of the Oil make him out to be the next Coffey, people will laugh he plays like nothing more than the next Marc-Andre Bergeron. - p_zub
Ya... slow down buddy... Give the kid more than 2 games to start labelling... and not all oiler fans dubbed schultz the next coffey... maybe the closest potential we have seen in years to Paul... but he is a kid FFS... leave it at that... |

IMO, bozak rode kessel and lupul's coat tails last season. he's MAYBE the 3rd best center on the leafs team. i think he'd work well on some teams, but not in a top six role. i'm honestly trying to think of a team, other than the leafs, where he'd be put in a top six role, and i'm a having a hard time. columbus, maybe....can't think of many others. |

THIS!! I thought the little gaffe in Vancouver of letting a 45fter in would get Dubey settled... I actually said yesterday he will be good... Then he goes and (frank)ing completely provides no help to the team... if we had a kipper we would go undefeated all year... as all he does is bail out shotty team and defense in Calgary... That is a deal I would love to make... as we know sooner or later Calgary is gonna have to tear it all down... Nonetheless I still think Dubey can prove a bit... but come playoff time I would not rest much confidence in his abilities... he continues to be a (frank) up and let the soft ones in which sets us back right at the start of games... He is a back up and an expensive one at that... |

While I haven't been able to watch either of the Oilers first two games, i've looked that the box scores and it appears to me that the Hemsky/Gagner/Yakapov line is a defensive liability. Out of the 5 goals scored against the Oilers 5 on 5, they've been on the ice for 4 of them. |

Its all about chemistry with him it seems. Detroit or Vancouver might be a good fit for him. He's slowly getting better at his all around game, wins a lot of faceoffs now. |
