Where have we said either is the next Paul Coffey? We've called them blue-chip prospects, which they are, but we also have more realistic expectations for them in the future. Hell, Dion (frank)ing Phaneuf put up numbers at 22 that Schultz will be lucky to be even close to, and look how that's turned out for him long-term.

i'm not going back through 1700 comments per blog, but if you honestly believe that leaf fans aren't talking about gardiner and reilly in the same way oiler fans are talking about schultz, then you OBVIOUSLY dont' read the comment section in your teams blog.

Richard, Schultz CAN'T have much to learn. You led me to believe that Schultz was already an all-world player, as he dominated players who aren't NHl caliber all fall/winter long. I mean, obviously he doesn't have the stats against a top rookie like Patrick Wiercioch, but he should still be Norris caliber by early February, right?
