I think I got about $10, I haven't checked the exact amount yet. And it goes on the Sabresbucks card. So basically, I got one beer for leaving my money with them.

Edit: just over $12. Beer and peanuts.

I got to keep my seats. That's enough for me to be honest. It was nice that they did anything at all.

Kevin Freiheit: The Grigorenko decision
- KevinJames

While Grigorenko hasn't got on the scoresheet, I'm not worried about him. I wasn't expecting him to tear it up in the NHL, at least not in his first season.

i am confused by this statement, are you telling me GARTH does not represent all Sabres nation??

how can this be?

I like how the Devils cleared Simmonds fat ass out of the crease, something the Sabres didn't do. Then the idiot crosschecks Brodeur.

some people would argue we are better off without Myers, but with Pardy
- sbroads24

Pardy cant play any worse then Myers has.

That's a fact!

Yea I don't get the Myers hate, or the Miller's lucky BS. Myers is a +1 with a goal in 2 games and I believe someone has went as far as saying he's a "tire fire"
- sbroads24

Not to be rude , but do you watch the games? Myers has indeed been a tire fire.

Just for what he did in game 1 I would have benched him in Toronto.

Game 2's give aways in his own end put me over the edge. Just because he scored on a lucky deflection in game 1 where he couldnt even hit the net, all his clumsy awkard giveaways are to be excused? Not me! Not for his money! The excuses need to stop with this kid. I am tired of the excuses when it comes to him.

But a guy like Miller who carried your country to a silver medal does not get this type of support?

I just dont understand some of you.

I'd love for Myers to prove me wrong especially for that contract he is getting paid but everyone just keeps making excuse after excuse for this kids horrid play.

It's time for less excuses, less awkard give aways and more proof that he deserves his contract.

I dont see it!

Well, looks like I missed my opportunity to chime in during the time people were actually here to comment....but I'm fine with Grigorenko staying. As has been said by many others, spending time crushing everyone in Juniors isn't going to do much to him. It's not like his defensive game is going to improve down there, so let him stay.

If what's been said before is truly what Ruff would do (allow Grigorenko to continue to play, concentrate on being adept in his own end and then worry about being an offensive playmaker), then I'm all for it.

Way too much overanalyzing going on here. There should only be one question that matters: are the Sabres a better team with Grigorenko on the 23 man roster than without him? If the answer is "yes", then he should stay. If it's "no", then he shouldn't. It was no different than with Tyler Myers.

People really need to realize that the only reason we are winning is becuase the Matt Frickin Ellis magic is back..

i think the slow play on Grigs will be good for him... he has been decent but not overwhelming in his time.. But he is playing with fundamentally sound players (for the most part) and that is only going to help him learn and be better defensively in the long run. So far i approve of the way Ruff is easing him in the game, but i wish he had a better winger than hecht.
