It hasn't even been three years since the 2010 draft, even less for the others, and you're saying with confidence you know who the best player to come out of each draft is?
These guys are in the infancy of their careers. Nobody knows who the best player is. Quit making pointless comparisons. - SteveTambellini[/quote
Perhaps you should suggest that to your pals in Edmonton that want to make fun of our last years pick. He hasn't even had a full season since the draft. You're correct, it is way to early to say who is the best and who is a (Yaka)flop |

You shouldn't throw around dummy comments when you, my little friend, are the clueless one.
Taresenko drafted in 2010 16th overall by St Louis.....
I really feel sorry for you, an Oilers fan living in Regina and that is the last we will hear from him for a while |

If you think Bouwmeester's value is any higher than that, especially now that the cap is coming down next year, you're delusional. - SteveTambellini
Nino may not be some high-end elite offensive prospect, but he's no cap relief dump-trade either. Bouwmeester is good, but I wouldn't make that trade. |

If all other factors (contract terms) were eliminated it wouldn't be the worst trade ever. But Nino is under contract for another full season, then is still an RFA. The Isles are nowhere near the cusp of any real success and I seriously doubt JBo is going to want to take a salary cut to stay on the Islanders roster after next season. |

I don't know what they'd take, unless they want Babchuk and maybe Jones.
Flames suck. I was wrong.
j/k. Kipper starts slow every yr (though he is having an especially rough beginning this yr). Iginla starts slow. Too bad they got their first 5 of 6 at home. |

Theres must be a reason Nino didnt get a camp invite for him to act innocent or shocked that he wasnt. Give him the year on the farm and not burn a year of his entry levvel contract to help his development is fair but he should still be given an invite or had mutually agreed it was best... Show some faith and dedication to your 5th overall pick islanders. Garth Snow sure knows how to be an idiot
The flames shouldnt trade for this kid unless its a steal. Trade your assets for high picks and rebuild with your own prospects. Dont trade your young talent for this cancer |

If they can't catch up in an 82 game schedule after a slow start WTF are they going to do this year.

The first year of his ELC is already burnt though, so that's not even a factor. Garth Snow is an idiot, although he may not want to give Nino what he wants, he might trade Nino for a piece that can help right now. That way the Flames wouldn't have to trade any assets or young talent to get him, and would continue to stack exactly what we need. |

True, but they also usually fall off down the stretch. So, hopefully games 6-48 go well (I assume Van will be a loss at least).
And then, no stretch fail! |
