Hmmm, no witty response? Looks like they've gathered up their tools and crawled back under their prock. - 1970vintage

Too early to tell. Its blind guessing at this point which is foolish. Tarasenko has an obvious edge already though in the Calder runnings, nobody can dispute this. - systemtool
Nuge had a pretty good size lead a week in last year. Where did he finish? |

He had the RNH line matched up against the twins all night. They were ok, but that isn't a good matchup IMO.
I like Eberle/Nuge/Hall and the they maybe be ready one day, but there is no way they are ready to go up against two scoring champs yet.
And you can ask any Canucks fan on here, AV is pretty bad at matching up himself, so if he is dictating the matchups there is an issue with your coach. - IanEsplen
It was his first game as HC so I will cut him some slack... |

Guys, can we please try making constructive comments? If you think Ian is wrong, tell him who you think is going to win. Don't just make some snarky post about him being a homer. |

not to mention he owns his own company for motivational speaking, it's quite vauluable to have someone like that with the kids, i'm really excited about Kruger - SpoiledByOil
I think he's a solid choice for such a young team, I'm surprised that there aren't more guys coaching in the league with a professional background. Well, not really surprised, the old boys club is still pretty strong. |

I wouldn't pump that up too much. Canucks had Ryan Walter for a year or two and he didn't help much.

Its a 48 game season, all bets are off.
Tarasenko is the real deal, and these goofs you mentioned arent even going to come close. Huberdeau will give him a run for his money, or another one of the many rookies light years better than the ones you mentioned. Lets not be silly now. Nuge also got hurt for a quarter of the season or he would have won it. So yea..good job. |

I don't have the time to go back and look up all your #1 draft picks from year's past and post exact numbers because I could care less about the Oilers and their history. I don't live in the past like Toronto and Oiler fans because my team actually makes the playoffs every year so I have meaningful hockey to watch. Let me guess your comeback though...how many Cups have you won though? - CanUSA17
You are one of the best... Gotta give it to ya... Trolling seems to be your forte.... But its 3 first overalls- 2x30thplace finishes... and its 5- thats 5 STANLEY CUPS to date...
The way your promoting for Esplen you may get him into Cloutier territory for hits per blog based on trolls! Cudos |

What a shocker that he didnt know this.
RNH had the same points in 62 games that the ROY had in 82 games. |

you don't have to, i'll tell you, Hopkins and Hall.. and the only reason why you don't live in the past is because you don't have one. It's not a comeback you want to troll our current team but ignore our history, and i'll troll your entire team including your history.... which is basically nothing
Edit: and of course Yaks |

Are those Calder predictions a joke? An error? A brain fart? You being you?
Tarasenko isnt so hard to spell that you need to avoid it. - systemtool
i don't understand how you can give the Calder to Smith the way Tarasenko and Huberdeu have come out flying, and with Schutlz and Yaks.... - SpoiledByOil
Just like Oilers and Leafs fans to hand out awards two games into the season. |

No kidding. Notice how he snuck in a couple of Canucks? Like an injured Kesler winning awards. What a joke. - systemtool
Well, Kesler does instantly becomes a better player the moment he is sitting on the bench rather than the ice.
Him not playing limits the chances to score by the other teams best players.
It would be a joke for him to win, but a very funny one indeed. |

Impressive. I dont think there could have been a more ineffective come back. I feel better about myself now. And the Canucks are still behind both teams in the standings. Ahh what a beautiful day it is. |

Please, dont speak of the Cup as if its anything more than a myth to Canucks fans. You guys treat the Cup like its big foot. A few pictures or sightings, but never really ever seen one up close in real life. |
