No kidding. Notice how he snuck in a couple of Canucks? Like an injured Kesler winning awards. What a joke. - systemtool
Meh, he's a Canucks blogger, and one of the ones that is a little more cheerleader than other team's bloggers, so you had to expect that. Funny he chooses two guys with little to no shot. I would have thought that one of the Sedins would be in there somewhere instead TBH. |

He'll be lucky to play 40, and when he finally does come back hes going to be rusty and behind the pace of the other players. Lets not be silly about this.
Leafs suck. 1967.
Happy now? |

Other than the Calder, which I knew was going to raise a lot of eyebrows, which one are that crazy?
Stamkos leading in goals and points?
Rinne winning the Vezina?
Datsyuk winning MVP and Selke?
AP winning the Norris? - IanEsplen
Its more the combination of them all happening.
Rinne wins the Vezina... that means Nashville is in the playoffs.
Petro takes Norris... we all know the Blues will be in.
Hossa a darkhorse mvp... odds are good the Hawks will get in the playoffs too.
And playing in this beast of a central division, the Wings will manage to do well enough against all this tough divisional competition that they take 1st in the West?
Possible, but the math makes it incredibly unlikely.
Also, the Wings stink. |

and you're calling us trolls???? hahahaha wow what a donkey, you realize it's only been two and a halfs years since our first top five overall pick ever right??? what did Pitsburgh do? 03 1st pick, 04 2nd, 05 1st, 06 2nd, cup in 09? something along those lines??? How can the oilers possibly not be in the playoffs two and a half years after their first overall pick? i guess they never will be... oh well at least we have cups to reminisce about, more than the Nucks have.... LOL i love how you can call people trolls and make such a stupid comment..... awesome - SpoiledByOil
IMO, your talent won't be the problem this year...
Your coach will.
Maybe they figure it out next season. |

so maybe you should do some research on him, he's the only reason i actually think we have a shot at squeaking into the playoffs this year, i'm more excited about him than any other aquisition this year... He ran our pp by himself for the first time last year and we finished 3rd in the league, with a 29th place team, and that's not even his specialty. |

What exactly does he have to figure out... He was letting the talent play in his 1st game as HC... He has taken more risk potential in one game than any coach in Edmonton in the last 5 years or more! - He has a style that we have not seen yet... stacking up the fwds in OT was pure excitement IMO... |

Seems like a decent guy, who should figure it out. But I think it is going to take time.
I see a quick start. Strugles in the middle. and a decent finish.
Overall- 9th place |

I don't know a player.
I guess he sucks then right.
He scored 30 goals last season in the NCAA. Dallas needs guys to step up and score and I figure he will do some of that once he is settled. - IanEsplen
Hmmm, no witty response? Looks like they've gathered up their tools and crawled back under their prock. |

The same could be said about our team. AV is a great coach but... the team may have heard the same line to much. I am not knocking him I like him he is by far my fav in the league but does there need to be a new voice in the locker room? |

that sounds about right to me, but i hope we do enough to squeak into 8th.. but really i just want to finish higher than Calgary, then i'll be $500 richer lol |

I have always thought Tampa was the most likely destination for Luongo.
Tampa has a very good team with weak goaltending. Lindback has been questionable. Yzerman has all kinds of talent to be able to satisfy Vancouver.
Luongo wants Florida. It may not be the Panthers, but it is close. |

I think you're wrong, Kruger is a professional coach, not some ex hockey player who thinks he knows how to run a drill. Yes, I realize he is an ex player, but he is an actual coach, someone that knows how to get the best out of people. When the Oilers miss the playoffs it won't be because of their coach, it will be because of their defence and goaltending. |

He had the RNH line matched up against the twins all night. They were ok, but that isn't a good matchup IMO.
I like Eberle/Nuge/Hall and the they maybe be ready one day, but there is no way they are ready to go up against two scoring champs yet.
And you can ask any Canucks fan on here, AV is pretty bad at matching up himself, so if he is dictating the matchups there is an issue with your coach. |

Too early to tell. Its blind guessing at this point which is foolish. Tarasenko has an obvious edge already though in the Calder runnings, nobody can dispute this.
