Also, did you guys see Yakupov score last night, you would think the Oil just won the Stanley Cup

First goal of his NHL career.

I'd be pretty excited too.

Sorry..... Eberle is no Malkin or Corsby.

You're right, both those players are fragile like an Easter Egg in July.

His NHL career, but he's being playing professional hockey during the lockout and has scored a lot of goals in international tournaments. Come on, it was a bit over the top no?

Yakupov has a nice quick release. At first I thought Murray would have been a better option for them, but they have a serious trigger man now. All that playmaking and now a release to go with it.

Its different when you do it on the big stage, at a level you dreamed your whole life of getting to. I see no problem with letting it rip on a first career goal.

Reilly, I'd say as of now he does, I like Rielly a lot. Kadri......no.... No chance. Come on. Kassian has every single tool, the only thing that's missing is consistency. He can take over a game with his playmaking, goal scoring and physicality.
- Boinker

Yes, Kadri does. He's produced more at every level. He (Kassian) doesn't really have the skill to be a scoring forward in the NHL. He's a checking line banger guy.

Dude, we watch him play. He has the skill. He has the hands and the size to be a good piece on the first line. He's not a banger. He's a playmaking skilled player. Stick a play making center and a goal scorer on the other wing and you have a first line. He's not a 4th liner. Far from it.

Dude, your opinions have a tendency to be a tad "skewed". He's not skilled enough to be a good scoring line forward.

Kassian had about 3 huge hits, a goal ,and a fight on Sunday. He also missed two other great chances. People that are not noticing this kid develop, are Canuck haters. I agree Fosc Kassians stock will rise.

This is laughable. Again you make a judgement in a Canuck prospect having not watched him play at all this season.

Kassian has tons if skill. He had some of the most impressive setups I've ever seen this season on the Wolves.

The Sedins are the only players on the Canucks with more skill than Kassian.

I've never seen anyone claim to know so much about a group of prospects they've never watched, like you constantly do.

Oh, I've seen him play.

Here is an Oilers fan's reaction:

Kassian is a terrible player... He has hands of Horcoff.
- RichardHertz

But, I'm sure he's never seen Kassian play either. No one has but you.

Toews and Hossa are decades ahead of Eberle and Hall. Chicago also have Seabrook and Keith as a top pairing D not Schultz and Shultz . It is crazy to compare a team that finished 15 th most years to a cup winning Norris trophy team .
- VANTEL

eberle's better than hossa actually. i wont say much about toews. hes a beast.
and schultz will be our keith is what we hope.
whats confusing about this?

but i still dont see the comparison. you're choosing what to read or what to take from it.
i didnt say the oilers are the blackhawks. ( thats the hope) i responded to a guy saying we couldnt get all 5 guys signed. or are effed if we do.
not true.
the hawks have done this, and remain a contender.

I would be careful about pumping up Eberle, since he's getting traded for Luongo and Kassian.

It would take a person such as yourself to want to offer up the Sedins Schneider and Kesler for Gardner Hemskey .

You do know they are in our division ,right?

Crawl back under the bridge.

Within this year Kassian >Hall

- VANTEL

holy eff!!! this isnt serious is it?

im a pretty reasonable poster i think. love my oilers, but aint a claimer at all. we've been terrible for ages and have a long ways to go.
but this is crazy/
u clearly dont watch much oilers. we have a ton of holes, but hall isnt one of the problems.
im not sayin kassian cant be valuable, he can be. a very good player.
but hall is in a different class. he can change games by himself. his skating is elite, and he back defenders as soon as he touches the puck. kassian could never score that goal hall did last night.
hall needs to work on a few things, but these two arent even close at this point.

im trying to up his value so that he can match their worth...

bottom line. EBERLE WILL NOT BE TRADED, in any deal with the nucks.
if u think he will in said proposal, you just flat out dont understand how it works

Just to be clear, I think most Canucks fans agree that there's no way Kassian is better than any of Hall/RNH/Eberle.

Correct, he's better than all of them combined.
