No where near the same value, as long as he remains unsigned. - A_SteamingLombardi
True. I was assuming a deal in place.
But Even if he doesnt wanna sign and they're forced to move him, they Still wouldnt do it for luongo. They got lehtonen |

Schroeder gets his first NHL goal tonight I predict. You heard it here first. |

Come on dude! Eberle is one of the most valuable trading chips in all of hockey, I doubt that Lu and Kassian alone would even be considered for a second. - Nucker101
I know it is out there. Do you think Gillis would trade Lu for Gagne? Not a chance.
If Kasian has a break out year and about 30 games in he has 25 goals with the Sedins, and fights guys like Eager ,and bangs like Benn then his stock will rise.
We seen 10 minutes of that type of player on Sunday. If he can bring that every game then Gillis may have made the right choice in the Coho trade. Lets see in 20 games from now. |

If you look across their "untouchable" core (Eberle, Hall, RNH, Shultz, Yakupov) you'd have to imagine Eberle would top that list so I agree I can't see them dealing him unless it's for a Weber or Chara.
As bad as they need a goalie I can't see any scenario that sees Lu going there for one of those guys, or any scenario where Gillis wouldn't demand one of those guys given they're in our division. EDM is a no-trade zone for Lu. - AlexF
If you take their top players and put them on your untouchable list then there is no player of value going their way either. You will end up with a trade of Sam Gagner for Ballard . If they want to make a huge difference they they have to give up a huge player. Otherwise enjoy two first lines with no goalie and no D |

Eberle and hall are already signed long term. Schultz isnt on an elc.
Btw, chicago has 5 core star players signed long term and are still a contender every year - hugefemale dog77
Toews and Hossa are decades ahead of Eberle and Hall. Chicago also have Seabrook and Keith as a top pairing D not Schultz and Shultz . It is crazy to compare a team that finished 15 th most years to a cup winning Norris trophy team . |

Tambellini isn't going to be the one laughing if he doesn't balance out that lineup a bit. They get an elite goalie, and a big physical top6 forward with loads of potential. Both are much needed on that team.
Like I said, there are other reasons I don't think the Oil would trade Eberle, and it might not be the entire deal, but it would be a decent framework, value wise.
Has Kassian's stock fallen that much that he's not considered a valuable asset? - Fosco
Kassian had about 3 huge hits, a goal ,and a fight on Sunday. He also missed two other great chances. People that are not noticing this kid develop, are Canuck haters. I agree Fosc Kassians stock will rise. |

Maybe it rises, maybe it doesn't. But it's nowhere remotely close to Jordan Eberle. You could trade 5 Kassians, and still it wouldn't come close to Eberle. |
|

|
Come on. A contract dump and a B level young player for Eberle? What are you smoking? - prock
It would take a person such as yourself to want to offer up the Sedins Schneider and Kesler for Gardner Hemskey .
You do know they are in our division ,right?
Crawl back under the bridge.
Within this year Kassian >Hall |

Kassian is no Kadri or Rielly but then again Canucks are not as good as the Leafs. |

He is dealing with a personal issue (his son's surgery) and then he will report to the Islanders. |

Yeah, you're right about that. He isn't. Both carry more value than Kassian.
Along the lines of the previous proposal, the Leafs offer you Komisarek and Frattin for Edler and Schroeder. Deal? |

I see, they're in your division, therefore they are totally open to being robbed of one of the best young players in the league for a contract dump and a young roster player that is nothing special at all. |

You are always so bang on about your assessment, I am sure Kyper phones you for info.
Your blind love for the Leafs has melted your brain. DUDE finish out of the bottom five for a year first, before you come bragging about that piece of crap team from the East. |

I'm not bragging about anything. If anyone's brain has melted, it's you guys thinking you can get Eberle for Luongo and Kassian.
You know what, forget it, I'm just gonna re-post it in the Oilers thread and see what happens. |

Dude again let your team finish out of the cellar first , before you come here and tell us how talented your rookies and prospects are.
You remind me of Vagrant standing on the corner of Hastings and Main with an A frame sing on, that advertises financial advice.
Come back next decade when your team makes the playoffs. |

Kassian has gained a step. He's actually NHL fast now. He's going to be a lot to handle me thinks....I hope to god he rips it up with the Sedins and stays on their line. I just picked him up in my keeper league. |

If I was starting a team today, I would take Eberle, not Crosby, not Malkin, not Chara, not Weber. That's just me though. There is no way Edmonton entertains any trade that involves Eberle, especially to their division rival. |

Reilly, I'd say as of now he does, I like Rielly a lot. Kadri......no.... No chance. Come on. Kassian has every single tool, the only thing that's missing is consistency. He can take over a game with his playmaking, goal scoring and physicality. |
