You don't think the situation was blew slightly out of proportion because of how scrutinized the Habs are? They were talking about him EVERY (frank)ing day. Gomez would still be an overpaid player with the isles for what he brings to a team, don't get me wrong. But the guy is not washed up. He's a very good skater and a pretty adamant playmaker. He would have probably been bought-out at the end of the year anyway, because his contract was one of the worst of the league, but the guy can still play in the NHL. |
