Happy for him and lets see how it plays out. He may wind up being a decent trade chip. 46 games to go...plenty of time for the wheels to fall off. But I suspect if they give that effort every game they won't be sitting in the basement.

After listening to a few comments from Therrien yesterday, it seems he was not pleased with Eller's intensity on opening night and that he's not in great shape either. He was kept on the ice yesterday after practice with one of the assistants for a little "skating session".

Gorges and DD as silly as their penalties were worked pretty hard throughout the game. Bourque was a revelation to. The concern with him has to be how often he hustles like that.
