I saw him a couple of times... He seemed to be skating well, but he just wasn't doing anything with the puck or getting to good spots on the ice. He looks a little lost out there.

I noticed Bouwmeester a lot, but not in a good way at all. He was slow on his turns, getting beat cleanly all night. I don't think I've ever seen him look like such a pylon out there... I mean he's notoriously soft in front of the net, we're used to that... but he looked awful all over the ice last night.

I wouldn't pay a ton for the kid. Maybe offer a defensive prospect that's not Breen or Wotherspoon? Throw in a 3rd or 4th?

I honestly didn't see or hear Cammy's name at all. Bouwmeester allowed that poop Winnik goal (4th i think)

I believe he is on the 2nd year of his ELC......someone correct me if im wrong.

He was LOST out there....aside from his apple on the PP.... I don't like these lines Hartley is tossing together. Baertschi with Stajan? Poor kid.

Stajan actually seems to have some jump this year. Still can't find his hands, but he's working hard and forechecking pretty relentlessly. Good on the guy for at least putting in full effort. Hopefully the offense starts to fall into place for him too.

Ya I know....can't knock his effort. But offensively it will hurt Baertschi. I'd rather see Sven with Jones over Stajan.

I like Backlund there. I think that's how Hartley wants to keep it too, they just needed a little shaking up there at the end of the 1st.

I saw the lines from practice today on Twitter....seems like more of a shake-up coming. I'd like to see Horak, Baertschi and Backlund. Throw them out there and see what happens. Let them stay together too.

Exactly....they shove him with Jackman and Jones....what is the kid supposed to do? These 3 kids are the future. Ride em. Comeau and Stajan are DONE in my opinion.

Wotherspoon is going to be an above NHLer IMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see him finish the year with the Flames. I wouldn't move him.
