Don't forget a bibliography. Not because I require well-documented citation, but because I like the word 'bibliography'.

I see a scary trend with out pk.

Last year 17th
Year b4 11th
Year b4 6th

It gets worse each year. We also lost richy but with our forwards we should be top 5 in pking imo

I think this team has plenty of offense with forwards. Any moves that are made should be to upgrade the defense in my opinion.

Agreed. Defense first.

Not having Chris Pronger on the PP is the biggest reason for the drop off imo.

Pk? We know the reasons why. But adjustments need to be made.

Cant win the cup with crap pking.

It's just such a dull term. I will, however, accept parenthetical notes. There's a great word, 'parenthetical'.

He was the key to both the PK and PP. He's no longer there, have to find a way to make improvements without him. Specialty teams decide a tremendous amount of games.

Edit: The easiest way to improve the PK is to limit the amount of penalties.

10: Times the Flyers have started 0-2. Previously, they went on to make the playoffs six of those times and missed three (1971-72, 1989-90, 1990-91). Somewhat of a telling stat, since the Flyers have missed the playoffs only eight times.

I wonder what they did the other time?

They traveled back to the year 1955 to make sure that George McFly took Lorraine Bates to the Enchantment Under The Sea dance.

Maybe if Laughton continues to show well we could package him, a dman, and some picks to bring in bobby Ryan or another dynamic winner for giroux. He has hartnell but needs that other true first line winger

I'd say without a doubt that a puck moving defenseman takes precedent over Bobby Ryan. Besides, I think we could find a cheaper option.

Talbot and Coburn are definitely physical players, and Meszaros isn't a marshmallow.
- BulliesPhan87

Meszy had 144 hits in 62 games last year despite playing injured for a period...

Sure, be intelligent and point out the obvious to the dope in the room. Don't you have to slay Gilgamesh and capture the Whistling Bow to bring down the Hippogryph threatening your port city?

Woah, Schenn10 is not a cheap date. He just happens to be a modest spender.
