Large pie, sausage, peppers, and extra troll on top.
- Daman

Large, xtra sauce (because no one puts enough sauce on pizza and without sauce it isn't a pizza "pie"), mushrooms, onions, sweet peppers & salami. I'll throw in Lilia, he can drive it over.

My bad. I just have this bad habit that when trash blows into my yard (and blows in from the north), I have to clean it up.

Leafs are now reporting that you just hurt JVR's feelings with that comment. He's out 4 to 6 weeks.

This whole trade is now in jeopardy.

Thanks, JMatchett. Thanks for blowing it.

What if the Flyers include a pizza cutter for future considerations?

Well cut it out. That trash has a no movement clause, and it ain't waiving.

Great, the whole thing's ruined. Screw it, shut down the season, we're going back to the lockout.

So NJ wins....

I'll take Flyers 4-1

Simmonds, Hartnel, Coburn and Wellwood with the goals.

I can't wait for Danny and Gus to be back, so we can sort out our lines better. I do prefer Jake back with G and Harts, eventually would like to see Schenn with Simmer and Danny.

Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek
Simmonds-Briere-Schenn
Talbot-Couturier-Read
Fedotenko-Wellwood-Rinaldo/Sestito

Timonen-Schenn
Grossmann-Coburn
Meszaros-Gustafsson
*Foster/Gervais split as the 7th

That's how she will hopefully look once we get healthy for this season.

All of this Luongo talk is annoying. Why trade for another albatross of a contract? The only possibility I see is if Lou gets bought out after the season, we rid ourselves of Bryz's contract anyway possible, and sign Lou for 5-6 years MAX.

As far as Ryan goes, I can't see Anaheim even considering trading him until they see what happens with Getzlaf and Perry. If one or both walk, they will really need Ryan to stick around. I would also prefer to take a FREE run at Perry if he goes UFA this summer, rather than trade assets for Ryan at any point.

What about Yandle in Phoenix? I would definitely consider putting a decent package for him. He's not Norris trophy material, but he is signed, paid decently, good skater, good first pass, PP QB, etc.

If I can be an arm-chair GM for moves I'd like to see... buyout Bryz, sign a bought out Lou, trade for Yandle, sign Perry, re-sign Timonen on a 1 year for a cheaper amount, let our scrub patrol (Lilja, Shelley, Walker) peace out, and if we need cap space for Perry, buyout Danny ( )... win the Cup?

Apologies for the rant, had 25 pages of comments to filter.

Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle says there's some things James van Riemsdyk needs to change and he will 'make sure' JVR is aware of those changes. Van Riemsdyk was the prize offseason acquisition of since-fired GM Brian Burke and the Leafs need JVR to finally deliver on his massive potential. Carlyle, for one, wants him to use his 6-foot-3 frame in front of the net. "That’s one of things we are going to ask him," Carlyle said. "He is a big man who can go to the front of the net. He has soft hands around the net, we want to see him drive the puck that area, push people off the puck."

Yeah good luck with that Toronto. JVR has no desire to get in front of the net and start those battles...

I think thats a great starting point. Anything more then Schenn and a 2nd round pick would be over paying IMO.
