That sucks that Foster appears to be injured. He looked pretty decent the first couple of games. Hopefully it's something minor.
- PLindbergh31

we'll see. maybe they just want to see if there's possibly a competition for that last spot? doesn't seem insane to want to give gervais at least a look, imo

One beat guy is saying maint day, another is speculating injury...you know, instead of asking questions and doing their job.

Probably a little dinged up. Hopefully something minor.

Yeah, maybe. But Foster certainly wasn't among the dmen who played the poorest the first two games.

Maybe if Laughton continues to show well we could package him, a dman, and some picks to bring in bobby Ryan or another dynamic winner for giroux. He has hartnell but needs that other true first line winger
- TypicalCat18

If I'm trading those assets, it's not for Bobby Ryan or any other Winger. I'm doing it to add the defenseman that is needed. A Winger is not the need on this team in my opinion. The real need is for a #1 defenseman.

For sure. If Bobby Ryan truly cant wait to play for the Flyers, let him sign here for free when he's a FA. He's near the bottom of the list of guys I put a big package together to acquire.

For some odd reason there is a huge fascination for some with Bobby Ryan.

Ive skated with him a couple times. Awesome dude, awesome family.

Not really an odd reason. He is a huge flyer fan.. would love to see him fulfill his dream of being a flyer.

What does that mean? If he was injured and wasn't playing this evening he would still have a locker wouldn't he?

Per several of the beat guys, the lines are juggled at practice.

19-28-93
15-10-17
26-14-24
27-21-11

Briere is skating with Shelley and Sestito. No Foster at skate, no reason given yet

Talbot is on 4th line, mistakenly typed 27 instead of 25

I mean the season isn't over. Breathe. But what I'm most disappointed with is how slow Couterier and B. Schenn look. It almost looks like the guys that played elsewhere are struggling the most to adjust. Matt Read played great overseas, but is quickly finding the moves that work there don't work here.

I'm willing to move assets for P.K. Subban. Laughton and pieces or a first and pieces. He is exactly what the Flyers need. Speed, passing, powerplay QB. It's a move they absolutely need to make.

- Flyers1218

I think it would take more then that to get Subban. You're going to have to include one of B. Schenn or Couturier.

I have no idea. Seems weird that they'd put him on Skid Row so fast

Puzzling. Based on his play hard to imagine he's been exiled after two games. I think maybe he has the flu or something and they told him to stay away from the rink. That seems to make sense.
