I don't see why you feel guilty. If a players played amazing he gets praise if he suck well he gets rain. It's part of life. I read your blogs because you write it as you see see it. I'm even more interested then ever in the Oilers because of your writing. Keep it up and please don't get into the apology blogs too often. |

Does anyone else find it interesting - the current catch phrase 'it is what it is' has become an epidemic??? Every (frank)er I know uses that phrase- work, home bar etc... who knows though could be that I live in Saskatoon... - saskoil21
Use it when you blow your load after 15 seconds. |

Yakupov should not be playing in the NHL this year. He had a few good minuites in the season opener, but other than that he looked like a boy amongst men. He is just too immature to be an NHLr. He is lacking confidence and it shows in the way he plays. With all of the cap trouble coming in the next few years why burn a year of his entry level deal? Can the Oilers send him back to the KHL or would that burn a year of his contract still? I doubt he would go back to Sarnia. |

Not to me...and I don't hear it more than normal...you are just noticing it, sort of like a car you newly acquire, you never noticed how many other people have those cars until you get one. |

For once I was not being sarcastic. It is laughable that I'd judge him so hard after one game, the fact is we only have 5 games to evaluate him before his ELC kicks in (I think). He had a bad World Juniors and was lackluster in the latter part of his KHL debut. Granted he was spectacular before that. Given the stage this team is at, I just think the Oilers would do better to maximize his deal. Rather than have Shultz and him come off ELC's in the same seaon. Just my opinion. |

P.s When is Yoast's Jim O'Brien Blog coming on? he was on here saying he'd be better than Nail or Maybe it Was his Mom Either way tell Travis to make it Snappy - Jon_Parisian
Get your fact straight.
Yost never said that. He is IMO the best writer on this site. It was that Senstroll dude that was spouting about Jim OBrien. |

I think he meant that Jim O'Brien wrote the comment, because no one else would make such a stupid claim. |

It did seem odd that you were ripping on players after an exciting, hard fought win. Maybe when the oilers win, intead of writing the good, the bad and the ugly, you should write the good, the better, the best.

(frank) Clouts, I can't read all that. - Lahey
To sum up the blog.....He said Corey Potter sucked, and Potter replied on twitter "thanks".
Cloutier's conscience got to him as he has a sleepless night being toured by the 3 ghosts of Oilers past showing him all the times he hurt an Oilers feelings so he woke up and wrote a long blog trying to remove his guilty, dirty feeling he has. |

I'll take that over years of the rise, fall and return of It's All Good.
Wait, it all kinda sucks when the record keeps looping. |
