We face the Pens next. After that game, all bright sides will be eclipsed and this place will be a gong show. - systemtool
I hope Carlyle decides to start Reimer vs. NYI and give Scrivens the Pens.
It just makes sense to give the guy who's actually played a couple games the shot at PIT.
Man o Man is that ever going to be a tough test of the team's overall defence.
Randy's probably begging the guys to stay out of the box. If we can do that, and keep putting pressure on the PIT defence, we'll keep it close, as we haven't had too much trouble scoring goals against PIT over the last few years |

So I guess everyone in the league that has struggled for basically just two games played is useless? All those star players that have had a rough two games should be bought out or traded then, you guys kill me, - LeafMan

We've had some real tight games with them
Remember the first game last year, with Gusti in net.
Or Malkin getting the tying goal late?

About time.
Bozak on the point was an absolute disaster. - ejeezy
Meh. Depending on what zone they’re in, and where the bench is, I can see it working. Bozak takes the draw, Kadri moves into the centre spot after that. If it’s close enough to the bench, and they have possession, Bozak slips off the ice and gets replaced by Gardiner. It's nice starting every PP with posession. |

Looked a lot like the Gionta shot that knocked Reimer out for 7 weeks with what his mom diagnosed as a concussion. |

Uggh.
Having Gardiner back will make a world of a difference.
And did I see Bozak on the point during the 5 on 3 last night |

Not even close to the Gionta elbow or hip to the head, Kessel fell over Miller, totally different.

similar but gionta went in knowingly, as kessel just kinda ended up there.
