Well let's look on the bright side

Kadri's producing

Scrivens isn't letting more than 2 a game in.

We still haven't seen Reimer play yet

It was only Buffalo, and face it, we weren't expecting to get anything out of that game.

Now if we could just execute better on the PP

I must say, those sneaky NHL Marketing Department bastards giving away Centre Ice for a few weeks has me hooked. I'm looking at the schedule: I'll probably watch the Philly-NJ game tonight, and maybe check in on Stamkos.

And tomorrow night, I'll watch as much of the Canucks game as I can before falling asleep.

- Atomic Wedgie

The wife and kid have other plans then watching Centre Ice package on the main big screen tv, but thankfully the 2nd hd digital box with the 40 inch tv is in another room, now to be called my man cave until the little one comes in and says she doesn't like what mommy is watching and takes over the tv, I can't win.

So why female dog about it in the media ....I know, I know, it's a Vancouver's "thing" but still Gillis is coming across as a whiner.

don't get me wrong though ....I love the drama.

- The Law

VANCOUVER created this problem, not Toronto or Philly or Florida or anyone else.

Luongo is a FORMER all-star goalie, not now.

His contract is ridiculous and it got much worse after the new CBA. Only Vancouver fans and Gillis want everyone to believe it is otherwise.

His whining, and today's desperation move of stating that he has a "deal in place" but not with the usual suspects is douchebaggery at its finest.

I would expect nothing less.

Hopefully they found JVR a place on the bench.

Looks like the Schenn trade was perfect. A useless Dman for a useless forward.

Actually, I would be happier with an even-strength goal.

So far we faced Price and Miller....pretty good goalies, I am sure we can get some offense going against Pittsburgh... but unfortunately they will score more than us also.

We need a goalie to steal a game or at least get us a point out of last night....go on a few game slide and the leafs are lottery fodder ...I hope

Considering the amount of time they had last night on the PP they should be better on the PP. They maybe didn't make the best shot selections, which has been a problem of theirs for years.

I think the biggest problem is entering the zone on the PP, and getting everyone set in position. I also felt they weren't set for one-timers as well as they should have been

We face the Pens next. After that game, all bright sides will be eclipsed and this place will be a gong show.

So I guess everyone in the league that has struggled for basically just two games played is useless? All those star players that have had a rough two games should be bought out or traded then, you guys kill me,

He's better than useless. Underwhelming after 2 games, yes, but I reserve 'useless' for players like Fred Sjostrom.

Komisarek can stand to win a few fans by delicately putting his shoulder into Crosby's chin.

Edit: He can ask Steckel for a few pointers.

Yeah but when you're spending that much time on the PP it's hard to get into any flow at 5 on 5.

I think the chances will come, as long as we're not letting too many in, then the offence will come around.

I'm personally hoping Mac gets it together soon. This team really looks like it could use Frattin's speed down the wing, and I can't imagine Carlyle's too crazy about the type of player Mac is.

I dunno, but it's effective! I'm running out to buy some Duell right now (as soon as I figure out what that is).
