The problem is they faced a goalie that stone walled them last night, mixed with a more defensive minded coach. You put Luongo or Schneider in net last night and Leafs win 4-2. - systemtool

I was actually impressed last night. I thought we would get hammered. Defensively we look better (so far). I like the 3rd line and the 4th line. We look like we have a bit of toughness. I think McClement has played well. I'd forgotten what a decent PK actually looks like. 1st line should be OK when they get their timing back. We need the 2nd line to start clicking, which i think it will in time. One player that's annoyed me so far is JVR. Puck is always in hs skates and he keeps hammering passes at Kadri. If it wasn't for Miller and a few posts we'd be 2-0. So far im pretty happy. Actually looks like here's a game plan. - walshyleafsfan1
JVR has been sitting a long ass time.. its going to take time. same with kessel and lupul..
phaneufs game looks better.. once he gets his legs i think carlyle is going to be a good fit for him

Not invisable, defensive stalwart...... Not useless, used his line mates well.
Gez what an embarrassment - burn
If he stays it'll only be because the Sabres are that (frank)ed down the middle. He was ok on face-offs (Mostly took against Kadri...soo..ya) didn't see him 99% of the time.

Schneider with the hat trick again? - senstroll
Thats why I hope Luongo is traded, so the gong show can continue without Luongo saving the Canucks. Just not to Toronto. We already know Gillis is not getting full value for him a trade, so it should provide solid troll material. Yea, im shamelessly admitting it.
If I were to help Gillis rid his hands of Lu I'd want Kesler coming our way too. He has a Roberts/Tucker/Clark feel to him. - Unholy_Forward
Comparing Wendel Clark to Ryan Kesler is blasphoemy. Get a clue. One is a warrior leader, tough as nails mans mans - the other is a cry baby diver who is photographed far too many times with his shirt off for my liking. Wendel Clark probably has so much manly chest hair you'd need a sonar device to find his nipples. Retract your statement immediately.
