Highlight of the night.

Had to be a publicity stunt. How does someone who looks like the coach, dress like him, with similar glasses and sits right behind him, during the home opener.

I think the Pronger comparison is off base. The kid can skate, he seems a bit slender right now, but he has a body type that adds muscle, I find it hard to choose a comparable player, just my opinion though.
- Leafland

he could be a marc staal type at the end of the day, bogosian? hard to say where he fits.. he could very well be pronger-esque if he fills out, and still maintain the speed.

I remember Pronger, before he was drafted. Very similar build and skating style. Not sure about Jones having a mean streak, like Pronger. Pronger was a problem child, when he was drafted by Hartford. I think he was arrested at a bar, drinking under age with his teammates.

If it's a publicity stunt, it's the worst publicity stunt ever attempted. Who starts running to Senators games because a guy who looks like the coach sat behind the bench?

I can totally relate to that sweet stache... Ottawa just won themselves a new fan.

Ever been to a Leafs game in Ottawa? I've been to a number. They're a bunch of low brow idiots, who like to use grade 8 idea's, more like a public school basketball game. It looks exactly like something their public relations department would do. I always loved going to see the Leafs beat Ottawa in the playoffs. It's fun watching grown up's cry, when they relish this kind of home town shlock, against fans of visiting teams.

After Alex Jones interview on piers morgan. I made a comment on youtube about not understanding why it's such a bad thing to have gun control laws for assault rifles. They are designed to rip people apart.

Within 10 minutes I had 30 replies in my email calling me every name in the book.

And obviously I don't think all Americans are like that. Just the ones from the Southern red states. lol

- Sheppy99

It's really sad how important their guns are to them.

The reason why it's so damn funny is because he reminds me of Wilford Brimley.

The guys on the Sens broadcast were talking about how he's apparently been seen in that seat many times before back when Clouston was the coach. I laughed my ass off when I saw that.

remember that time burke backed down off including kulemin in a deal for mike richards? ugh.

the getting by on chemistry days have passed for that line. time to split it up.

JVR kadri kessel
lupul grabovski komarov
macarthur bozak kulemin

there's a few ways to try it out, but i like the idea of putting the JVR kadri combo with kessel. reunite kessel lupul bozak on the powerplay.

- joel878

If only Kadri could win a face off.

Kadri played over 15mins last night........ I hope Systemtool doesn't still want to trade him because he's not playing.

It was getting a little tiresome hearing how much bigger and tougher guys like Kaleta are now that 6'9" John Scott is around. Yeah ok..... sure seemed like it. Same Dbag self, wont fight anyone that can fight his way out of a wet paper bag and attacking skill from behind. Sure seems like Scott has made him tougher.

On a side note, how in the world does a guy that can't play, can't skate or can't fight make you feel tougher?? Scott is horrendous. LOL @ the buffalo fan that didn't think Scott got beat down..... apparently scott was laughing the whole time and thus wasn't beatdown, but rather just slipped and lost his balance.

Scott got tagged twice pretty good ...

Oh and the fact kaleta didn't leave the ice in a body bag is a joke...

If he didn't want to fight Orr should have just mugged him like kaleta did to kessel

agreed. Kessel and Kadri easily best forwards.

Grabs Mac Kulemin have been terrible. They started slow last year too. Kulemin is supposed to be the defensive guy but he's made 2 bad played (almost identical) that lead to goals.

JVR has been pretty good, but god he's got to figure out how to hit the net. Lupul was much better last night than game 1.

Agreed....... I don't think they wanted to do anything because they were still in the game. If the game was out of hand he probably would have been killed. Kaleta is a useless puke.

Last night a Sabre fan called him an underrated 4th liner!!

This is the problem with the instigator penalty. Can't make a guy like Kaleta pay unless he accepts without taking a penalty.

I think in that case it's worth the extra 2 min... Just skate up to him before a face off and drill him..... Can't let the guy do that 2 kessel

Did u see kessel face after the scrum? .... He looked like someone stole his lunchable

Instigator penalty is so stupid.
