No proof. Don't paint Shelley with a picture that isn't true.

Three things:

1) Shelley was jumped in the beginning
2) Shelley bleeds when sneezing into a tissue
3) That looked photo-shopped to enhance the damage

I saw he had a Bob shutout against the Preds. He beat Rinne in a shootout. Unreal.
- PLindbergh31

Yep 2 goals against and allowed the 1st shot he also made 5-6 outstanding saves. Using him in a pointless game, thus exhausting the number of apperances allowed before a player must pass through waivers before AHL assignment was a major (frank) up on Homer and Lavy's part

Alex Steen took a poke at Rinne as he was covering the puck and Weber came along and threw him five feet

It was a typical Bob performance. A lot of great stops, but two softies allowed. He ever eliminates those soft goals, he's a top notch starter.

I'm worried he will turn into a very solid tender, in order for him to do that he will probably have to wait until the Jackets get rid of Howson.

Weber has a mean streak. I think Henrik Zetterberg can attest to that.

He still does that weird hunch-crouch thing with his shoulders when he goes into the bfly. NHLers can pick the corners more frequently than KHLers.....to me, that's his biggest flaw

That's his biggest technical issue, agreed. He's been better about it this year so far. But the second goal he allowed in the opener, he failed to close the wickets and it dribbled through his five hole.

He did redeem himself fully the rest of the way.

I wish him nothing but the best....short of beating the Flyers in the playoffs.

Absolutely. The top part of the net is his weakness. That can be corrected though. Bob played smaller than his physical stature. He's not a small man, he's 6'2" 200 lbs.

St Louis looks pretty good.
Pietrangelo just roofed one over Rinne from along the goal line.

Agreed. He seems like a good guy. Has to be tough to come to a country leave behind your fiance. Not being able to speak the language etc... If I had to go earn a living in Russia when I was 21 years old I would probably poop my drawers.

There's a rumor that he speaks English, and just played the Philly media....which kinda makes me like the guy more

Wayne was injured. I think he took a puck to the face a game or two earlier...or it could have been his hand.

im not saying jvr was that, just that he seemed to have that mentality and if he had a full season alongside giroux i think he couldve become that kind of player.

and i agree, hartnell seems like the closest they have to that right now, but he's not exactly a player that creates his own shot.. moreso gets into open areas for the one-timer. and he's good at it

- Crimsoninja

I'm hoping B Schenn turns into that finisher for them, if he stays with G he'll get his chances
