i feel the same way i did before they acquired jagr

they need a coldblooded sniper willing to shoot from anywhere and able to pick a corner

i miss jvr

- Crimsoninja

At what point does that describe JVR?

Hartnell was that sniper last year, I think we can all remember those one timers from Giroux or corners he picked.

Chicago trades a 7th rounder for goalie Henrik Karlsson, who they could have had for free last week on waivers.

im not saying jvr was that, just that he seemed to have that mentality and if he had a full season alongside giroux i think he couldve become that kind of player.

and i agree, hartnell seems like the closest they have to that right now, but he's not exactly a player that creates his own shot.. moreso gets into open areas for the one-timer. and he's good at it

I would never classify Hartnell a sniper but he was shooting very well last season. Now he has to do it again.

Couturier and an autographed Clarke jersey for Stamkos..

Think they will do it?

Tarasenko is a monster.

Edit: Blues PP is 5-6 to start the season. Hitchcock has a hell of a team. If he doesn't grind them into hamburger, this could be their year.

Couturier has struggled somewhat so far, he should be the least of folks concerns right now.
