Isles will lose today, easily too.....

took a look at the next couple of games the isles have, hate to say it, but they can start off 0-8, and the pathetic part about it is, they will fire Cappy (which i dont care) but its not his fault (bc of lousy roster) and either appoint Weight or Thompson which neither is qualified....

theres a saying for playoffs: you need to learn how to lose in the playoffs to gain success next time around

theres a saying for losing: Losing is a disease (The Natural movie )

theres a saying for winning: you must learn how build confindence to win games before becoming successful (isles have no clue how to )

whats next????

I'm no fan of Jack but he has very little to work with. The coach can do very little without a good owner and GM.

With a good owner and GM, Coach Capuano would still be coaching Bridgeport.

I agree but a professional coach will help the kids progress

Ex: Rags were a ok/bad team, when they hired Torts, there kids instantly became better NHL players, and have better hockey IQ of the game
besides JT, our supposely kids have regressed.....
if you started a draft today, besides JT, u will select the next 10 kids from the Rags instead of isles, thats a fact......
before the Rags trade of Nash, i would select Dubi + Arnisimov before the next islander, thats pretty pathetic.....

I believe Wang will sell when after the value of the team goes up when they move into Brooklyn..
- Ur Not Me

Like I said yesterday, Ratner and Prokorov will buy into the team when they move to Brooklyn...

Plus he was thrust into a coaching position that he wasn't ready for.

Being in over his head from the get go and as you say getting nothing to work with was a formula for disaster.

The writing is on the wall (BALLS & ALL)

Weight is next in line.

Another disaster in the making. IMO

Isles need a coach with prior NHL experience. A winning resume would be preferable. But who's available and who's willing to join the circus?

Could not agree more my Wolfpack Brother . I think if Doug got some coaching time in the AHL he could be a good NHL coach. I do not like the idea of him coaching without any time in the AHL.

Jonathan Blum of Nashville would be a good pickup...not playing much in Nashville....lot of upside, can run the PP....moves puck well, has some size...cheap...

Yeah, especially when DiPietro is playing....then we need 20 of them on the ice at the same time...
