The sad part is that if Buffalo plays Philly in a 7 game series Philly takes 4 or 5 out of 7.
They are a solid, solid team with SICK depth at forward.

Philly is 0-2. Scored 3 goals in 2 games. That sick forward depth needs to step up. As far as Im concerned Brayden Schenn looks very average, same with Voracek. I am not so sure they handle us in a series. We were very rusty, if we could handle the puck and get in sync we would have put 1 or 2 more up.

They lost by 2 legit goals as the 5 with an empty net.
It's pretty understandable for a Flyers fan to be unhappy with the refs given the fact that 2 goals were disallowed that you can make a case should have counted. I am not going to cry about that though.We lost because of our inability to kill a penalty and score on a powerplay.

Could also make the same argument for the Flyers being rusty and tired after an emotional game against the Pens.
On paper the Flyers do have great offensive depth but paper only goes so far. I think that it takes 10 games before you really know whats going on when you have no camp.
of course 10 games in a 48 game season can really screw you.

Lots of teams are gonna struggle for bit to find there chemistry but ur goalie has looked average at best through 2 games that's not a good sign but your fowards are to good to miss the playoffs

I thought they were both making some stupid moves. But Ehrhoff played solidly for the Sabres him and Sulzer were our best two. Leopold on the other had looked ridiculous out there letting everyone skate around him. I watched that happen about 3 times. Nuts.

i thought ref was in poor position to call the play dead on 2nd disallowed goal...he was in corner and could only guess Miller had it...as the deep ref he needed to be closer to the net...

if you think Bryz has looked average then you clearly have not watched the games..
Please tell me what goal he should have stopped today? Maybe he should have stopped the Neal shot yesterday , maybe but when a 40 goal scorer rips a shot from the high slot sometimes they are going to beat you..
Vaneks goal = great move
2 other goals = deflection
4 goal = first save and no d or forward clearing the puck...
Bryz has been above average or both the Pens and Sabers would have won by 2-3 more goals.
